Nada I know that Per and Marie are not a couple, but I wrote this for the many fans who would like/have liked to see them as one. The events here are fictious and linking them to either Per or Marie was purely coincidental. Please keep and open mind while reading this and I hope you enjoy it... I hope you really don't see what is written here... "Jeny" |
Sweden, Fall of 1998:
Nada Per Gessle, the male half of duo Roxette, and leader of Swedish band, Gyllene Tider, was sitting in his desk watching his son playing. Through his mind went thoughts of when he hadn't wanted any children. Now he was content to see the miniature version of himself playing with Asa Nordin-Gessle, Per's wife of nearly around five years. Going deeper into thought, a question popped into his head, what if? He tried to push the question aside in his mind, but was defeated. What if the situation had changed? What if he would have married someone else? Those "what ifs" soon became one simple word, why. Why did he have to get back at her this way? Why did he marry just to spite her? Why didn't they try to work things out? Why hadn't she waited for him? All the questions rolled in his head as he let out a sigh. He buried his head in his hands and sat there, pondering. Nada Asa looked up at him worried. "Per? Are you alright?" Nada He looked at her and managed a faint smile, "Yes, just thinking about the album, its been taking too long. Nada Asa walked over to her husband and kissed his forehead. "You worry too much about music, its good that you take a vacation." With that she smiled and picked up Gabriel. "I'm going to my parents house for the day and we won't be back until tomorrow, care to come?" Per got up and followed Asa. "No, I really have to work on the songs. I have been too preoccupied with Gabriel to think of anything else. Reports are that the fans are really getting irritable with the wait." Asa smiled and said, "Ok then, we'll leave you, this way you can get some work done without distractions." Per smiled and said, "Thank you." Nada Soon after, Asa left and Per was left to roam free in his thoughts. He went down to his studio and lay on the black sofa. Softly he whispered, "Why did I let her go, when I needed her so much? I still need her, I still love her." The last sentence poured slowly out of his lips and he sighed. Tears began to run down his face and he realized that she was the first woman he had ever cried over. Choking back his tears he let himself drift off to sleep. Nada Over at her summer home, Marie Fredriksson, the female half of Roxette, was in her art room painting. Hearing the phone ring, she cleaned her hands, and ran quickly to answer it. "Hello?... Oh Hi Micke, I was busy painting. Yes you can take the children for the day, I'll see you when you get back tomorrow." She hung up the phone and smiled. A day all to herself. She returned to her artwork and sat on the stool. Micke is a wonderful father and an understanding husband, she thought as she painted. Over to the far left, a picture caught her eye. She got up from her stool and walked to pick up the picture. She smiled when she saw it. The inscription on the bottom of the frame read, "Roxette 1989." She took a long look at her partner thinking that he looked much better with the black hair. She herself had to admit that shaving all her own hair off was a silly thing. She took the picture out of the frame and looked at the back where Per had written, "To Marie, The Love Of My Life, Don't Ever Leave Me, I'll Never Leave You. Love, Per." She sighed as she read this and was glad that Micke never decided to take the picture out of the frame. It was dangerous keeping the picture out, yet it was a cute picture of the two of them and she treasured it. Memory's of the love they once had filled her mind. To get them out of her mind, she put the picture down and went back to painting. Not content with what she had done, she flipped the gigantic pages and started a new piece of work. She didn't know what she was drawing, yet she continued on. What lay before her when she was done, shocked her. "Per," The word hardly came out at all. The painting was a perfect drawing of the picture she had just been looking at. She wanted to tear the page out and start again, but couldn't. She knew she had to keep on. After a while, she started to feel quite tired and decided to rest. With a cup of coffee that she had fixed for herself, Marie hurried to her bedroom. Once there, she finished some of the coffee and lay down in bed. Within minutes she fell asleep. Nada Per too was sleeping, still on his sofa in the studio. The dreams that came were of only one thing, one person, Marie. He began to dream of the first time they'd made love. To this day, every detail of it remained inside him. Nada It was 1986 and they had been working on the new Roxette, deciding what songs should stay and which should go. They had worked all night from nearly 10pm until 4am, when they decided to take a break. To get off the topic of music, they discussed other things, such as their love lives. For quite sometime the both of them went through the history of past lovers. Feeling the loneliness drive through him, Per moved closer to Marie and kissed her. It was a quick kiss, but, nevertheless, a good one. Per quickly turned away, ashamed at what he had done. That was his partner, his best friend! How could he do something like that? After the shock left Marie, she turned to him and they shared yet another kiss. As the kisses became stronger, they knew this is what they both wanted and needed. Neither of them could say that they didn't want each other. To the contrary, they both had thought of the possibilities if they became lovers. Nada Marie giggled as she remembered the song Per had just showed her, one called "Like Lovers Do." Nada Per stopped kissing her soft lips and looked at her. "What's wrong?" He asked with a strange look on his face. Nada She looked at him and smiled, "Nothing wrong, I was just thinking of the song you showed me." Nada Per smiled and asked, "Which one?" Nada She couldn't help but give him an evil grin and say, "Like lovers do." He laughed at the last line she said and took her into his arms then stopped. "Are you sure? ..... You do want this? Right?" Nada She looked into his eyes and with all seriousness responded, "Yes... more than anything I want this.." Nada He smiled and kissed her deeply. She, in turn, kissed him back, slipping her tongue into his mouth. That was all the welcome Per needed. He, slipped his tongue into her mouth, tasting her and caressing her lower lip. As they both held eachother, Per found his way to her neck and nuzzled her using his lips and tongue. She sighed feeling his breath on her flesh. When the intensity inside him mounted, Per ran his hand down Marie's body and slowly rubbed up and down her leg. Without one thought of regret, Marie slightly parted her thighs just enough so his hand could reach inside. Per greeted the invitation and ever so slowly ran his hand up her inner thigh, reaching his final destination. When Marie felt that most intimate of touches, she cried out, "Per!" When he heard her plea, he stopped and looked at her only to find her eyes closed enjoying every sensation he was making her feel. She had never let a man touch her in that way, nor would she ever let any other. He was the chosen one, the one she secretly loved, the only one allowed to enjoy such privilege. Nada Per began to feel her heat as Marie moaned in pleasure. His heart ached with pleasure and pain, but he wanted to give her more, to give her everything he had to offer. He didn't care about self-gratification, but only about pleasing her. When she slowly reached down and tried to give him his share of pleasure, he stopped her. "No... Just let me." He smiled at her and continued what he was doing. His lips then went back to hers, tasting her again. She loved the heat of his mouth and the fire he was burning inside her, she couldn't wait anymore. All this teasing had aroused her beyond belief. She had to have him and fast or else she would die. He felt as her kisses intensified and by mistake she bit his lip. At that time, he knew she was ready to make this a complete embrace. He got up from the couch and reached an arm down to her. When they both stood in front of each other, he picked her up and walked into his bedroom. There he set her down on her feet and kissed her again. Slowly he took off her shirt, then her jeans, until she stood before him in her underwear. She felt ashamed for not wearing something sexier, like the negligee she had bought a few days earlier. Per smiled at Marie, hoping she didn't noticed that he had become totally aroused from the intense teasing they had undergone. Nada She undid the buttons of his shirt and kissed his chest, loving the feel of the brownish chest hair on her lips. He stood with his fists clutched and eyes closed as she kissed and caressed his body. Before long, they stood totally naked before each other. Per then scooped Marie in his arms and lay her in bed. Once there, he stood back and looked over her body in admiration, making her feel like the most beautiful thing on earth. He smiled when she blushed then crawled into bed with her. After they shut off the lights, everything was perfect, the moon shining through the open window and the two of them together. As he loved her, she held tight and ran her nails down his back gently. Wrapping her legs around him, she made it more comfortable for the both of them. That night they reached a rhythm unlike any song would ever reach. He felt inspired to keep pleasing her until he dropped dead from exhaustion. Never did she let him go, but held him to her, feeling their bodies together as two became one. This went on through the rest of the night and early morning. Sunrise found Marie laying on Per's chest with sheets wrapped around them. She had fallen asleep, but he seemed to have stayed awake, as the lines under his eyes indicated. Nada When she looked up at him he smiled and whispered, "Good Morning." Marie smiled back and repeated his greeting, "Good Morning." Nada He then realized that he didn't know what to do or what to say. |
