Neverending Love!

SECOND PART
Per did what he was longing for and kissed her. She kissed
him back then crawled into his arms. "Per, I can't believe we did
this." She whispered to him, opening a means for conversation.
"Me neither. I'd dreamed of this, but thats all it was,
dreams. I never thought I'd wake up with you in my bed," he said,
then continued with a grin, "...I think I like this arrangement."
She smiled and said, "I've always wanted you, from the
moment we met, but we were so young and stupid. I was always
too afraid to persue anything and ruin our friendship."
He sighed, "Yes, that has always scared me. I never knew
how to tell you what I felt so I put it into music, like most of the
albums I've done."
She then sat up in bed surprised "What? You've been...
writing about me?" He smiled and said, "Yes, all this time, its
always been you. That song that you love so much "Call Of The
Wild" is about you, how I hide everything I feel for you inside and
not knowing how to get through to you, Marie, I love you more
than words can ever tell. I always had, just didn't know how to tell
you." After those words, silence cut through the room. For some
time, the lovers lay there grasping all that had happened. Then, Per
slowly got out of bed.
"Where are you going?" Marie said as if in fear that he
would leave her. "To take a shower, we have to meet up
with the band in a few hours." Marie watched him walk
into his bathroom. She lay in his bed and ran inside her fantasies.
As was his ritual, Per turn the water as hot as it would go
then stood in front of the mirror to shave. Quickly, the steam from
the running water filled the room. Once Per was done he got in the
shower and lathered himself up with soap. He tried not to think
about what he had just done. Confessing his love to Marie had
been silly. She probably thought the worst of him now. Some silly
helpless romantic who even wrote songs about her. As he put his
head under the stream of hot water, he couldn't help but think that
he blew it with her. Surely they couldn't remain lovers and after
what they'd done, they couldn't remain friends. "Fuck," he cursed
as he put his hands on the wall to steady himself, "You've really
screwed things up this time, Gessle." He said to himself. As he
stood there, eyes closed and the water running over his head, he
felt something touch his back. When he spun around to see what it
was, his eyes fell on his beloved. Unbeknowest to him, Marie had
come to join him. When he saw the grin on her face, he had to
smile.
"I though that maybe you may need someone to wash your
back," she said with a sly grin.
"I'm so lucky I had you here," Per replied while feeling her
gaze on his body.
She laughed and he quickly took her in his arms and kissed
her. The heat of the water added to the excitement. This was
something new to the both of them. Never had either of them been
intimate with anyone in the shower. It had been a major fantasy,
but never a reality. Out of pure arousal, Marie quickly had Per
pinned against the walls of the shower, something that was so
tantalizing to him. She did nothing more than kiss him, but that
was all he needed. Then she let go and took the soap, lathering her
body. "Wow," was the only thing he could say. He watched her
lathering her body, then she got under the running water.
Once she was done, Per turned the water as cold as it
would go and stood under it for a while. When he saw Marie was
going back to the water, he turned it back to hot and stepped out
of the shower wrapping a towel around his waist. When she was
done, Per was no where to be found. Marie quickly took a towel,
wrapped it around her, and went out to look for him. She walked
into the bedroom and found him partially dressed, wearing nothing
but his tight black jeans that she loved so much. He was fixing the
bed while humming "Another Place, Another Time." His lovely
hair was wet and slicked back. Marie smiled, loving the way he
looked.
Per was never the type of guy who left the house looking
like some kind of hoodlum. Now that he was older and reached
stardom with Gyllene Tider, he always liked to dress his best. Yet
he is the type of man that any clothes made him look attractive.
Usually he wore black jeans, a t-shirt and complimented the look
with a sports jacket. She loved that about him, the simplicity in
what he wore, yet the attractivness he possessed. So many women
wanted him, but she was the one who had him now. This thought
made a smile curve on her lips. When Per noticed her standing
there watching him, he smiled. "Sorry I left you, I couldn't take it
anymore." He said with a slight chuckle.
Marie laughed and said, "I don't know what got into me."
Per picked her clothes up and walked towards her. "The same
thing that got into me," he said with a grin, then popped kissed
her. With that he walked out of the room. Marie felt so alive, she
wanted to dance and sing and fly. She quickly dressed and then
checked herself in the mirror, she was glowing. She wondered if
anyone else could notice the glow over her. She picked her long
hair up in a pony tail and walked out of the room. Per was now
completely dressed and ready to go. "Marie, we don't have time
for eating anything, so we'll pick something up on the way over."
His voice and maner of speaking to her was different, almost cold,
she wondered if he had erased what they'd done out of his mind.
Was she just another notch on his belt?
Per looked at her. "What's wrong?"
Marie sat down on the couch and looked at him. "Was I
just another for you to use and then toss away?"
Per looked at her, confused and hurt that she could think
that of him. "What are you talking about?"
Marie then got up, "Nothing... nevermind.."
Per stood in front of her and took her hands, "If you think
this was just a fling, that is not what I want and it is not what I
intended, but we have to keep this away from everyone, family and
friends alike. Too many will try to tear us apart. That I don't
want." Per lifted Marie's head so that she would look in his eyes.
"Marie, I swear to you, I ment what I said, I Love You, that is all
there is to it..."
All that he had just said, hit her like a wave and she happily
drowned it. "I Love You too," She said. That was all he needed to
hear. He slowly reached down and gave her a soft kiss.
Per woke up startled by the sound of a piercing beeping
noise. Sweaty and groggy, he jumped up off the couch and ran out
to where the noise was coming from. The stove had been left on
and smoke had filled the kitchen, setting off the smoke alarm. He
quickly turned off the stove and opened the windows. The smell of
the sea air filled his lungs as he stepped outside to the coolness of
the fall air. His mind only knew one thing, Marie. That dream had
woken up every ounce of desire inside him. There was only one
thing in his way. He looked down at his left hand and to the ring
there. He hated it for what it symbolized. To say that he didn't love
his wife would be untrue. He does love her, but not ever in the
way he will always love Marie. He pounded his fist against one of
the walls, hoping the pain would stop himself from feeling for
Marie. He pounded harder until he couldn't bear the pain anymore,
then looked up to see the walls bloodstained. He looked down at
his fist and saw that he had cut through the skin in several places.
"Shit," he said as he looked at his injuries. He clutched his fist, but
the blood kept dripping to the floor. Per began to feel empty inside
and knew that he had to do the impossible and go to her. He got
his hankercheif and wrapped it around his hand then quickly got
his boots and jacket and headed for the garage. Moments later he
stormed off on his Harley.
