Columbus, Ohio March 9th, 2002
First off, this show ROCKED.  It was almost five years since I had last seen the Bush-men (April 9th, 1997 to be exact), and I was EXCITED.  It was like 75 degrees when we were getting ready to leave, and by the time we got there, it was down to 35.  Needless to say, none of us wore coats and it was FRIGID.  We sat in the car for about an hour rather than get into the already 9 year long line, but the short time that we did wait in line once the doors opened was agony.  Once inside, we were clear back in no-man's land for Default, who I wasn't very impressed with.  I was DETERMINED to get closer for Bush or die trying, so we forced our way up to almost the mosh pit but not quite.  Oh...my...GOD...the guys blew us away!!  Even better than I expected, even without Nigel!!  Chris Traynor was awesome, totally into it, his guitar solos were fucking sick, Gavin was everywhere, including in the balcony RIGHT OVER TOP OF OUR HEADS for the entire song "Hurricane".  Dave was awesome, just getting into his little "Dave groove" and jumping up onto the raised stage a couple times.  Robin was rabid as usual, and Sacha was getting down the whole time.  It was AWESOME.  My friend Rachel has become one of the converted as well!!  She was a little into them before we went, and now she is like a total fan and can't get enough of them!!  We waited afterwards for them to come out but it was so god damn cold we had to leave.  I found out later they came out about half an hour after we left.  Which sucks.  But I WILL meet them one day, it WILL HAPPEN!!!  I have reason to believe there will be a summer tour, and I will professionally stalk them every day.  hahaha.

Pics will be up soon once I get my lazy ass to the store to get em developed!!!
