All
Saints
Every Month Part 3
All the nasty rumours answered by
Shaznay!
- Oh When The Saints, Go Marching
In' being considered as a cover to be released in the future? Nah!
Shaz says that she doubts it very much and that they have enough songs
of their own thank you very much.
- If you were offered a million pounds,
would you strip for photos? Shaz has to think about this one. She
finally shakes her head and says, No, not even for a million.
- Rumour has it that you've been
out for dates and romantic dinners with Matt Goss after you met him at
a private party. Would you care to elaborate on that? Shaz smiles
widley but denies the charge. All she will say is that they are just good
friends. She has known him for a long long time and they do go out together
from time to time, but there is no romance.
- Has Natalie been offered a silly
amount of money to write a cookery book called Nat's Nosh Ups? Shaz
says that it could be a goog idea but Mel is by far the best cook among
them all. "She makes great sauces". The night they found out
that Never Ever had gone to No.1, Mel cooked for them and it was stupendous!
- What's the story between Nat and
Jamie Theakston? They've been out together and they are really good
friends but I don't reckon it's serious at the moment. Who can tell?
- Does it get on your nerves when
magazines and newspapers the names wrong in the captions for your
pictures? Shaz believes that anyone can make
a mistake and that Nat and Nic do look alike, but they've been around long
enough for the papers to get it right, but she really hates it when they
print stories that aren't true!
- Do you want to fight the Spice
Girls? We have made the odd comment in the past. But Shaznay stresses
that they were only made in jest. Journalists try to provoke a real bitchy
response from both sides and love to pit the two against each other. The
truth is that the Saints admire the Spices and give them respect for what
they have achieved. "You can't really compare us. Our music's different,
and we're different people.
- So the rumour that you want to
sing Never Ever (the song about breaking up) at Victoria and David's wedding
isn't true? The wedding quote was taken completely out of context.
We were just saying how it would be silly to sing Never Ever at a wedding.
Shaz does not wish any ill feeling towards Victoria or David.
- Do you lower your trousers on stage
because your bums overheat? Mel, our press officer is always releasing
silly tattle like that. Our bums are fine." The girls have only let
their trousers fall once on the Smash Hits Tour.
- Did Nicky steal the mighty Robbie
Williams from the clutches of Melanie Chisholm of the Spice Girls?
Shaz confesses that although Nic and Robbie did date for a while, Mel C
was well out of the picture before the relationshipp started. She also
confesses that she only heard about the story of Mel C from what she read
in the papers, which is usually so unbelievable anyway!
