Collective Soul Back In The Studio

Collective Soul is set to begin recording their fourth album today (Monday) at a studio in Miami. The "L.A. Times" reports that the record will be titled "Dosage" and its expected to be released in August or September.

The band debuted in 1994 with "Hints Allegations And Things Left Unsaid," and followed with a self-titled second effort the following year. But their careers were put on hold for 18 months starting in mid-1995 when they had a falling out with their manager. They settled the litigation and re-emerged last year with "Disciplined Breakdown."

Most recently, Collective Soul have had songs included on the soundtrack to the movie "Scream 2" and on the David Letterman Late Show compilation.
