Gil was born and grew up in family of artist. His father named Abi Ofarim is a very famous singer in Germany (he has got 59 gold records). And it is his papa who has supported him to be in music business. When Gil was 3 years old, his papa bought him a guitar. He dreamed to be a singer since he was a little kid. He loves to play guitar all day all night (he can't live without guitar)! Gil is very very close to his papa. When he has problems, instead of talking to his friends like other teenagers, he usually talks to his papa. *That's sweet*
Then when he was 9 years old, he got to be on stage with his dad and then accidently got to play a movie called Ping Pong. He sang and played some music in this movie too! At that time he was just 10 years old. When he was 13, he produced an ad for a German sport channel...how great.

Ok, this is how he got into music business. It's started when he did a photo love story in the German magazine called Bravo and it made him very famous. He became a teen idol. And for this love story, he got to sing a song called "For Heaven Sake" which he wrote for it. And because of this song, 2 great producers were interested in him and contacted him to work together. After that he released his first single "Round 'N' Round (It goes)", 2nd single was "Never Giving Up Now". And before he released the album, the 3rd single that he worked with the Moffatts came out, it's called "If you only knew". In Thailand the 1st single is "If you only knew" which made him very popular. Following by "Round 'N' Round and the latest single "Never Giving Up Now"

He is most inspired by his father, and also influenced by Nirvana and Metallica. Gil loves these bands a lot. He has their posters hung around his room.
