Meat Stinks - a PETA run site - excellent starting point!

PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals - One of the largest animal rights organisations in the world who have been very helpful to both the animals and vegetarians - they run a lot of other fantastic sites - some of which you will find links to on this site.

Animal Liberation (Australia) - excellent Australian animal rights organisation.

Vegan Outreach - a great site with what I consider to be great ideas and thoughts and common sense about veganism.

Vegan Action - another great site that seeks to educate & encourage veganism.

Vegetarian Resource Group - lots of great info to educate yourselves.

Milk Sucks! - the truth about dairy in case you thought it was actually good for you or in case you thought that the cows don't mind...

World Animal Net Directory - list of animal protection societies around the world, with links.

Vegan Cats - a good place to start if you are considering bringing in a vegan diet for your dog or cat (yes this is possible).

FamouseVeggie.Com - it's sometimes interesting to find out what famous people are/were vegetarian...

Animal Ingredient A to Z - it's also interesting to find out exactly what is made from animal products (also useful for 'strict vegans').
