Robins Resigns

Mikey Robins will quit Triple J's breakfast show in three weeks after seven years in the job. Robins made the announcement yesterday, and will finish on December 4. It was not known whether his co-hosts, Jen Oldershaw and The Sandman, would continue next year.

I'd also just like to express my disappointed at Mikey leaving! He is triple j's longest serving breakfast announcer, and has been with triple j for so long! He's one of the funniest guys on radio, and I think he's a total legend, perhaps the greatest triple j announcer (as shown in the previous poll on this web site). I wish Mikey wouldn't leave, but if that's what he wants to do then I wish him luck and hope he enjoys the other things he has moved on to do!
