Thoughts on Nick

Brian: "Nick is very goofy. We probably get along the best out of eveybody."

Kevin: "Nick is young and he has enormous energy. I would like to be so nonchalent and free as he is. He doesn't want anything serious - perhaps because he's so young..... He is, definitely, the most clumsy of the group, but it is only because he has been growing a lot."

Brian: "Nick is like my younger brother that I never had. I can teach and him to do many things. He doesn't love to lose in sports, and always gets mad when I beat him in Nintendo games. But he is a considerably mature man for his age."

Brian: "Nick's name is Chaos - he's just out of control."

Howie: "Nick is full of energy."

Thoughts on Brian

Nick: "Brian is basically a nut! He's very, very, very, very funny - off the wall!"

Howie: "Brian is the person who draws attention nonstop. A.J., let's say, starts a story, but nobody listens to him, and we all look at Brian, who makes totally silly faces!"

Nick: "Brian - funny."

Howie: "Brian's the comedian."

Kevin: "Brian - jokester, likes to play around, but he's got a serious side as well. We've all got a serious side; you've gotta make time to be serious about what you're doing."

Howie: "Brian is, of course, known as B-Rok for his basketball playing."

A.J.: "Brian's the clown."

Brian: "I'm the comedian."

Thoughts on Howie

A.J.: "(Howie and I) are on each other all the time. But we don't take it personally. There'll be times when it goes a little too far, and we get personal and then we go, 'All right, that's enough.' But if it's just joking, we just go off."

Nick: "Howie has a really twisted wardrobe. A few years ago, he constantly wore narrow pants, while the whole world wore wide. Now it's more modern to wear narrow pants, and he walks in wide pants. But that's Howie."

Brian: "Howie is the peacemaker of the group."

Nick: "Howie - unpredictable."

Kevin: "Howie is very laid-back - he's probably the easiest going of the group."

Howie: "I'm called Sweet-D - I'm sweet with the ladies."

A.J.: "Howie's really sweet, kinda like a suave character."

Howie: "I am the peacemaker, at least that's what they call me."

Thoughts on A.J.

Howie: "(A.J. and I) crack on each other all the time."

Brian: "A.J. is Mr. Talkative."

Nick: "A.J. - different."

Kevin: "A.J. is very laid back as well........(he) talks a lot, especially to girls.!"

Howie: "A.J. is the skinny one."

A.J.: "Just Crazy!"

Howie: "A.J. is definitely the most flirtatious communicator."

Thoughts on Kevins

Howie: " Kevin is a mature man, responsible, proficient, and knows exactly what he wants. He is a natural leader and keeps us together."

Nick: "Kevin - sophisticated."

Howie: "Kevin is the most focused."

A.J.: "Kevin is very professional and serious, yet with a very sensitive side."

Brian: "Kevin is Mr. Big Brother."

Kevin: "I'm the perfectionist - I want things just right. We have rows sometimes because of that."

Howie: "Kevin is the more serious side of BSB."

On the Group

Kevin: "We've been together everyday for four years now... It's like family. I never had a little brother, but now I've got four."

Nick: "The other Backstreet Boys, they're like my big brothers."

Kevin: "Occasionally we'll have our spats, but, you know, it's like we're a big family and it's okay. We're brothers."
