Craig's story

This is Craig King, a really cool friend of mine.
Please take a moment to read his awesome review!

First off, I have to say that Liz’s show at the Lounge Ax was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. A bunch of us list members met up before the show to be first in line for the show. Katie Brown, Jason Long, Jorge Cooper, and I were the first people in line. We also met fellow list members Jill and Janet at the show. We all stood outside in the cold for 4 hours, and stood at the very front of the stage directly in front of Liz. It was all worth every minute of it.  Liz performed one new song, and a few rare in concert songs. It was only Liz and her guitarist Buddy Judge that performed. Here is the complete set list:

1.Glory
2.Girl’s Room
3.6’1"
4.Divorce Song
5.Wild Thing (from Girlysounds)
6.Johnny Feelgood
7.Dance Of The Seven Veils
8.Flower
9.Mesmerizing
10.Perfect World
11.Polyester Bride
12.Go On Ahead
13.Conversation Overheard Between Two Bouncers (new song, yes that is the title that she said)
14.Fuck and Run

Encore:

1.Explain It To Me
2.Supernova

Liz looked so amazing and beautiful. She wore a short white top with thin straps, along with black jeans and black boots. We were all totally blown away by the show. We about hit the floor when she played "Wild Thing". Katie Brown from the Support-System Digest is now famous because Liz said said the only way she’d perform "Flower" is if someone got up on stage and sang it with her. So Liz picked Katie and the both of them sang the song dead on. Katie did a great job and deserves a lot of credit for going up on stage to sing with Liz. Liz did in fact play a new song that she said was called "Conversation Overheard Between Two Bouncers". It was a very dark and very explicit song that sounded like something directly off of Girlysounds. But it was such an amazing song none-the-less. It was almost a kind of trippy sounding song, being kind of mellow and dark. But it was really amazing. It’s really hard to put into words how amazing the show and whole night was. Liz made her way out into the fans after her set, and we got to take a few pictures with her, got her autograph, and got to chat with her very briefly. But that was the jist of what happened at the Lounge Ax. Like I said, it’s just too hard to put into words what that show meant to me and everyone else from the list that was there. It was definitely an experience of a lifetime.
