Notes: I think there is an extra chord between the G and E in the
G, E, D progression, but I can't figure it out so I play the G
twice.

Hey there,

I was trying to figure out the guitar to "Rollercoaster" using
your chord chart thingee. After a few close listenings I realized
the guitar (the acoustic anyway) is in an open tuning (DADGbAD).
I lost the tenacity to learn the song completely but I did figure
out a few of the chord shapes.
The first strumming fade-in is played with all strings open except
for fretting the 2nd string (formerly the B-string) at 5 and the
1st string (the highest) at 4.
The next chord is a solid one-finger barre across the 2nd string.
The next few are a little hazy--I think it starts with the three
lowest strings fretted at 5, then the two lowest D-strings fretted
at 4 with the middle D still fretted at 5. Then you strum it open
for a while, then back to the head.
After that, the "..to relive this day.." part is played fretting
the lowest three (or four?) strings at the 7th fret. I recommend
using your thumb, Ritchie Havens-style.
(Sorry for all the imprecise directions but I think you'll be able
to figure something out once you hear the chords you're playing).
  Have fun.

Best,

Derek
