The Black Circle was created in july 1997 by Grégory De Ceukeleire and Thierry Gaquière.

It's a zine only for underground bands, to help them for their promo and particulary for the french scene.

The first zine came out in orctober 1997 with a lot of interviews of bands from France, Norway, Germany, Poland ....

In february 1998 Thierry left the zine.

The second number came out in april 1998 with interviews of other good bands from France, Italy, Germany, Slovakia, Norway, Mexico ...

In each issue there are drawings, poems and reviews and everything is in french.
