LUNATIC GODS (SK)
     The group Lunatic Gods was foundes at the beginning of the summer of 1996 by Hirax (guitars), Psycho (drums), Mortis (vocals) & King (keyboards). They decided to name this band Bestialit at first & the group played Brutal DeathGrind. They were immediately conatacted by Metal Age Prod. who offered them a chance for they first release. Bestialit didn't hesitate & Metal Age released a split CD Bestialit/Dehydrated in the beginning of the year '94. This split CD, Bestialit "Fuckland"/Dehydrated "Burnt", recieved much prize not only in the Slovak & Czech underground but in the international underground as well & 1200 CD-s were rapidly sold out. Short after this CD was released the band gave a lot concerts where they introduced their debut material.
      A few months later 2 new members Richard (bass guitar) & Emil (vocals) entered the line-up. The band realized that they got to another stage of their musical development & that the name Bestialit was not suitable for tha atmosphere of the new compositions anymore; therefore the name was changed to Lunatic Gods. After some time the Italian label Polyphemus Rec. offered them a contract for a CD & the debut of Lunatic Gods "Inhuman & Insensible" was released in the spring of 1996. This was the first time that a Slovak band was released by foreign label. The CD appeared on 25 April '96 on the international music life. This CD was very succesful, which can proved by lots of positive reviews that were published in a lot of relevant metal magazines, as well as lots of interviews.
     This material was supported by many live performances in clubs & festivals. In January 1997 the edition of 3000 copies was sold out & Polyphemus Rec. offered a contract for 2 new albums to Lunatic Gods. In the summer of 1997 ten new songs were recorded with the production of Dusan Antalik who is the best producer in Slovakia. The new material "Sitting by the fire" was released by the Slovak firm Metal Age & the offer of Italian Polyphemus Rec. was not accepted. The band also took part in some compilations & is planning to take part on some more.
WAYD (SK)
     The death metal band Wayd was founded in the year 1994 when thrash metal band Marion & death metal band Dysentery fused together. Both of them were just small bands known only in the regional underground scene as conventional metal bands. However, the very first beginnings of Wayd are connected with the effort to break the borders between the styles, as well as the effort to create more experimental & musically richer compositions. To combine different atmospheres & feelings into miscellaneous compositions have been their most important aim from the beginning, but despite the fact they have never forgotten to put stress also on energy characteristic for their music. The final product should be compositions in which everybody could find something interesting for himself.
     Wayd was set up by Milan Savko (vocals & guitars), Brano Kosa (drums), Richard Mayer (guitars) & Drahos Jurik (bass guitar & vocals). Even though these four members stayed faithful to Wayd, some small changes occured in the line-up.
     In 1995 Wayd recorded a demo tape named "Shape of your mind" in Presov in the AD micro Studio. This demo contains 10 songs that are an example of the creation from the beginnings of the group.
     Two years later a new material named "The ultimate passion" was recorded in the Exponent Studio & it contains 10 compositions again. However some of the new songs have been enriched by keyboard parts & female vocals. The texts are something like an expedition to the human soul & they talk about the dark side of human life. However in the same time they also talk about common things. They are a reaction to the events of everyday life & personal revolt against reality.
     In the last days a new member Marian Draci (vocals) entered the line-up of Wayd. At first he only sang a few vocal parts, but at present he sings nearly all the vocal parts & he also takes part in composing new songs.
     The last changes in the line-up occured in the very last days, when a talented jazz-rock saxophone player joined the band. These days he helps in their live performances & his saxophone parts give the music a new dimension.
     During its existence the band played a lot of concerts in the region of Eastern Slovakia & their most important success was the first place at a competitive festival "Slovak Rock Camp". In the future the band would like to play more concerts all over Slovakia & also in other countries of Europe.
SIAX (CZ)
     Siax have went through many personal changes up to the present group, this group have played about one hundred concerts, festivals & performance in clubs with another groups for example Krabathor, Infanticide, Scabbard, Colporrhaphia, Vader, Judgement Day, Destruction, Depresion, Purgatory, Disfigured, Ingrowing, Enter, Debustrol, Kryptor, Torr, ...etc.
     Debut album Inquisition was between the first thrash-deathmetal records on the official records in Czech republic & it was accepted very favourably by the most music critics.
     For EP Progeria the group was proclaimed by music weekly paper Big Beng! like the discovery of year 1995, in the same public inquiry in magazine Rock Report it finished on the third place. The magazines Metal Hammer, Spark, Whiplash & very underground zines referented very favourably to EP Progeria. In the year 1996 Siax devoted to the concert activity & it have went through next personal changes.
     In this time Siax prepares the new longplaying disc with work title Land of stones. The disc will be give off in 1997 with the bonus EP Progeria at the firm Shock Hazard Records. It will record in studio Barbarella in Ostrava again...
