Godzilla, Drugs & an old Warehouse

“ I told you we had to turn back there!” Becca exclaimed looking around the unfamiliar surroundings.
“ I didn’t know!” Cassidy replied exasperated, flopping down onto the pavement in defeat.

The two girls were lost. Both had just moved to Orlando, two days ago from Australia and were exploring the area unsuccessfully.
Cassidy and Rebecca, both 18 and best friends since practically forever had always dreamed of moving to America, although at the moment they were in somewhat of a predicament.

“God I wish I had a camera here…you look so funny sittin’ in the gutter like that Cassidy…send it home to your mum...’and this is when we ran out of money’!” Becca laughed at her friend who raised an eyebrow at her unamused, but got up and dusted herself off anyway.

“Yeah right Becca, you’d look more convincing living in the gutter than me...” Cassidy playfully slapped her best friend in the arm.
“Well we’d better find our way home or we will be sleeping in the gutter tonight!” Becca laughed.
“Hmmmm....." Cassidy looked around them, trying to somehow orientate herself.

"Where is that music coming from..." Becca asked more to herself than anyone else.
"Um, oh, over there...that warehouse..." Cassidy pointed to the end of the street.

"Well, I guess we could ask them for some directions?" Becca suggested to Cassidy, who simply shrugged in return.

"You never know, there might even be some cute guys to help us out..." Becca grinned.

“Don’t kid yourself Bec, you know you prefer girls...” Cassidy teased.
“DO NOT!” Becca said disgusted.
“Do to, do to……Becca stop looking at me like that, I like boys not girls!” Cassidy ran from Bec who was now chasing her.

They both ran up to the warehouse and cautiously opened the door.

The scenario that met them caused the girls to gasp in surprise. The “rundown warehouse” was a beehive of commotion, painted sets being wheeled this way and that, cameras, people everywhere running around fixing floodlights and the like.
“Holy….” Cassidy breathed.
Excuse me, can I help you!?” a rude voice bellowed from beside the girls.
“Ummm….yeah, we're lost...but what is all this?” Cassidy asked in awe.
“This is a restricted area ma’m.... . Can I please ask you both to leave,” the large looking man answered.
“I’m sorry we’re lost. Would you be able to tell us where we are?” Becca asked politely.
“Oh sure, I haven’t heard that one before. Now, come on guys, the boys are busy and you have to go..” The security guard said harshly.
“What?! Listen, if you couldn’t tell by our accents we’re new here. So why don’t you get your ugly face out of my space, tell us where we are and we’ll kindly leave you and your stupid boys alone!” Cassidy said angrily.
“Look girlie, push off. I’ve got a job to do, so you can take your space and find a lot more of it outside!” He yelled taking a firm hold on Becca’s arm.

“Hey! Don’t you touch her!” Cassidy yelled, trying to pry Becca away from the security guard’s grasp.
Tears watered in Becca's eyes as she looked at the huge man with terror as his grip became firmer.

“What the hell is going on here!?” a voice called over the commotion.
“George let go of that girl now! Can’t you see your hurting her??” Another voice joined in.

Cassidy , Becca and the security guard spun round simultaneously at the sound of the voices.
"George let go of her!” The second voice said again. The security guard guiltily dropped Becca’s arm and she rubbed the red area, still shocked.
“Mr. Littrell, these girls aren’t meant to be on the premises!!” George argued.
Cassidy, who had become slightly pissed with this whole situation decided to set it straight.
“Oh for Christ’s sake! We’re not trying to bust your little drug ring or whatever the hell is going on here…..we just want to find out how to get home!” Cassidy pleaded with the tall blonde who had first spotted the commotion.

Soon another three had joined the two guys. All five men looked at the two girls curiously.
“Who said drugs? Nick have you been inviting your junkie friends round again?” A tattooed, jewellery adorned guy said laughing.

“You know, I'm really glad someone’s finding this amusing,” Cassidy muttered.
“You guys aren’t from around here, are you?” A shorter guy with a ponytail asked.
“No, we’re from Australia, we're new here and we’re lost,” Becca answered with a sigh, the whole thing becoming fairly insignificant now.
“I’m Cassidy, and this is Rebecca,” Cassidy introduced.

“I'm Howie, this is AJ, Nick, Kevin and Brian..” Ponytail guy reciprocated the introduction.
The security guard could not believe what was happening, and he folded his arms in annoyance.

Seeing this, Kevin acknowledged him..
“Thanks George, we’ll handle this from here..” He said quietly.

“Yeah they’ll handle it from here mate..” Cassidy mumbled.
George shot Cassidy a foul, threatening look and stalked off to the other side of the building.

“You ok Becca?” Cassidy asked turning to her friend and inspecting her arm.
“Yeah..” Becca nodded quickly, even though her arm still ached.

“Uhh, really sorry about that..” The tall blonde said apologetically.
“Do you want a soda?” Brian offered sweetly, not taking his eyes off Becca.
“A what?!” Becca giggled.
“A coke?” Brian repeated, laughing also.
“Sure..” They both agreed, looking at each other momentarily.
