Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight


“God she smells so good..” Brian thought as he held Rebecca in his arms. He began to kiss her bare shoulder. He moved his hands to undo the clasp of her bra when his cell phone rang.
“Shit…” Brian mumbled removing his face from her shoulder and reaching into the back pocket of his pants and pulled out his phone. He kissed Becca before answering.

“Hello?!” He said walking out of the bathroom. Rebecca, not wanting to eavesdrop turned her attention to her now almost completely dry dress. She slipped it on and continued to fix her dishevelled hair.

“Bad time?” AJ asked amused.
“Whatever…now what do you want…” Brian replied in a hushed tone.
“Calm down Romeo…..I was just calling to ask how Juliet had taken the news that we leave in four days for that promotional tour?” AJ said waiting for a response.
“Oh shit! It completely slipped my mind!!” Brian’s mouth fell open.
“I thought as much..” AJ replied dryly.
“She’s not gonna like it is she?” Brian asked with dread in his stomach.
“Highly likely, but don’t worry Bri, she knows it’s your job.” AJ tried to put his friend at ease.
“Yeah well I’d better go tell her huh?” Brian replied sullenly.
“Yeah good luck buddy..” AJ encouraged.
“Yep..see ya soon.” Brian replied before hanging up.
“Who was that?” Becca smiled coming out of the bathroom now fully dressed.
“Becca I need to tell you something ok?” Brian patted the bed next to him.
“What’s wrong Bri?” Becca asked concerned as she sat next to her boyfriend on the bed.
“Well…” Brian began.

“Hey guys!” Cassidy smiled flopping down next to Nick, by now AJ had returned to the dance floor.
“Hey…” He replied kind of unenthusiastically.
“What’s up?” Cassidy asked suddenly concerned.
“Just thinking about stuff…” Nick began and then looked at Cassidy. Cassidy gulped, hoping he wasn’t going to bring up their kiss earlier.
“Is Becca gonna be upset when Brian tells her that we have to go away in four days?”

Cassidy sat back her eyebrows raised.

“Well?” Nick urged. Cassidy took a deep breath.
“Well, I think she'll be a little bummed, especially since its her birthday and stuff coming up...” Cassidy said quietly. Nick’s face fell in distressed.
“What date is her Birthday?” Nick cringed.
“Thursday, the 5th of November.”
“That’s like, two days before we come back..” Nick concluded sullenly.
“Man, that sucks...” Nick faded off.

Nick and Cassidy sat silently both deeply lost in their own thoughts. Cassidy looked at Nick who was looking around.
“Do you think she's gonna be the only one missing you...” Cassidy said quietly and continued to stare at Nick.
”I don’t get to see his beautiful face for two weeks…” Cassidy thought lovingly of Nick.
“I…I..umm…” Nick stammered, unsure how to respond.
“It’s ok….” She desperately wanted to run over to him and just kiss him so bad, but she kept her cool and asked casually. “Well if your going away soon, do I get a dance at least?” Cassidy looked up at Nick with innocent eyes.
“Sure,” Nick said offering Cassidy his hand.

“Two weeks?” Becca breathed as Brian explained their forthcoming work duties that he’d accidentally forgotten to tell her about. “I’m sorry babe, it’s only a two week promo in Canada.
“I understand…that’s cool…” Becca forced a smile.
”Your being silly!”Becca told herself as she stared at the floor. Brian gently rubbed her back.
“But I’ll miss him so much..” She continued to debate with the emotion she should show here. She looked up at Brian’s crystal blue eyes.
“It’s your job Bri…You can call all the time, it’s not like we don’t have heaps of time together when you come back and it’s not like you’ll be missing anything important.” Becca sighed, pushing away the thought of spending her birthday without Brian. But she couldn’t leave him with the possible guilt he might feel if he was to know about her birthday. So Becca decided against telling him.
“I’m so glad you understand.” Brian pulled Becca in for a warm hug.
“I love you Brian…” Becca whispered.
“I love you too,” Brian replied.
”I guess it won’t be so bad, Cassidy’s here. We can have a real girly time and just hang out for two weeks…but I’ll still miss him like crazy.” Becca thought to herself. She pulled Brian in closer, kissing him deeply. When they broke away he looked at her surprised and amused.
“What was that for?”
“Just needed to kiss you….” Becca said simply.
Brian grinned.
“I’m definitely gonna miss her kisses!”
Rebecca smiled, “Come on we’d better go back downstairs…”
Brian took Becca’s hand and led her back to the hotel ballroom.

“I’m going to find Cassidy ok?” Rebecca said kissing Brian on the cheek.
“Ok gorgeous,” He smiled and tucked a lose stand of hair behind her ear. He then went over to talk to AJ.
“There she is…” Becca spotted Cassidy dancing with Nick and grinned.
“Should I?”

“May I cut in?” Becca asked Nick politely.
“Sure,” Nick said and thanked Cassidy for the dance, he turned and was about to find Brian.
“No….I mean with you Nick.” Becca grinned. She could see Cassidy’s raised eyebrows.
“Umm yeah! Sure Becca,” Nick smiled as they began to dance to “The boy is mine” by Brandy and Monica.
“Oh this means revenge…” Cassidy narrowed her eyes at Becca who was smiling smugly at Cassidy over Nick’s shoulder. Cassidy walked over to Brian who was standing with AJ.
“You wanna dance Bri?” Cassidy smiled sweetly.
“Sure Cass….come on…” Brian replied as they headed onto the dance floor and began to sway.
Becca searched the floor for Cassidy, when she found her Becca’s mouth dropped open. Cassidy began to laugh when she saw Becca’s face after she had noticed her dancing with Brian.

”Oh don’t worry Cassidy….the game just got interesting…” Becca thought evilly to herself as she once again regained eye contact with Nick and smiled seductively up at him. She moved closer to him and gently pulsated her hips with him a little more “enthusiastically.” Nick gave her a surprised look but went along and responded to Becca’s new “not exactly family viewing” action. Cassidy too gasped as she saw Becca grinding with Nick. Both girls new this was a completely harmless, friendly game between them but then again they both HATED losing to each other. Cassidy smiled and whispered to Brian.
“Alright Mr. Backstreet….time to show me what ya got!”
“You don’t do getting’ yourself into trouble now…”
“I’ll be careful…” Cassidy whispered as she turned around pulling Brian’s arms around her waist and swaying with the music. Brian licked his lips nervously. He didn’t know exactly how he had gotten into this predicament but that didn’t mean he wasn’t enjoying it to some degree. Brian gingerly ran his hand up Cassidy’s thigh. Becca’s eyes bulged. Cassidy shifted her eyebrows suggestively at Becca.
“Big hands….” She mouthed smugly to Becca.

”Ohhh so that’s how we’re gonna play it huh?” Becca thought to herself.
She moved even closer to Nick so that their bodies were pressed against each others. Then, biting her lip after a quick glance to see that Cassidy was watching Becca slipped her knee in between Nick’s legs as they rocked side to side, gently massaging him. Nick closed his eyes and Becca could feel his staggered breath on her forehead. Nick tightened his grip on Becca, pushing her against him a little more. He wasn’t quite sure what Becca was doing but Nick was in no position to stop it.
Cassidy was shocked but tried not to show it. She moved her hands up and rested them around Brian’s shoulders, lightly circling her fingers on his neck. She mouthed the words of the song to Becca as Brian’s breathing became shorter.
”I’m sorry if you seem to be confused, he belongs to me. The boy Is mine..”

Meanwhile Becca smoothly turned her body around so that both her and Nick were facing the same way. Nick replaced his arms around her waist and gently rubbed her stomach, as they swayed to the music.
Brian had a thousand thoughts running through his mind as Cassidy rhythmically pushed her body into his. He was confused by Cassidy’s sudden flirting and knew Rebecca wouldn’t like it if he saw them dancing together. Suddenly snapping back to reality Brian looked around for Becca when he saw her dancing sexily with Nick.

”What the?” Brian blinked to make sure he wasn’t seeing things.

”What’s going on here?” Brian thought to himself puzzled.

Nick was also trying to think clearly, he looked over to see where Cassidy was and spotted her basically sexing it with Brian. Nick was overwhelmed with jealousy as he watched Cassidy with Brian. Nick then noticed that Brian was looking at him and Becca with the same look on his face. Nick then looked at Cassidy who was gazing triumphantly at Rebecca, who in turn poked her tongue at Cassidy.
Nick suddenly realised what was going on. He motioned to Brian to look at the two girls. As Brian saw what was happening he too realised the “competition” that the two had set up. He winked at Nick as they began to play along.
”Lets give these girls some of their own medicine…” Nick thought as Becca continued to flirt with him. Nick turned Becca around to face him.
”Two can play at this game……..”

Brian knew exactly what Nick had in mind. Somehow they had to put the joke on them. Brian turned to Cassidy and stroked her face. All Cassidy’s attention suddenly turned to Brian.

”What is he doing?”

Brian laughed to himself, ”That got her attention!”

“So Cassidy what are you doing tomorrow night?” Brian breathed into her ear.
Alarm bells went off in Cassidy’s head.
“Uhhh why’s that….” Cassidy replied unsurely.
“Well….” Brian traced his finger over Cassidy’s lips.
“If you wanted to come over to my house tomorrow night…..Becca wouldn’t have to know…” Brian nuzzled Cassidy’s neck.
“Ummm I’ve got to go to the bathroom…” Cassidy stuttered and quickly left the dance floor.

Nick laughed to himself as he watched Cassidy exit.
”Good work Bri….but now it’s my turn….” He focused on Rebecca.
“Mmmmm God you are so beautiful…” Nick whispered as he pulled Rebecca closer to him.
“What?” Becca looked at Nick confused.
“I knew it was only time till you came around Bec, Brian can’t give you what you need…..I’ll take care of you don’t worry…” Nick said his hand working up her back.
“Nick…..what are you……I don’t….” Becca couldn’t believe what Nick was saying.
“Shhh…..less talk…..more love…” Nick tilted his head as he leant in dramatically to kiss her. Becca pushed Nick away and ran to the bathroom after Cassidy. Nick burst out laughing and walked over to Brian who was watching amused.

“Hey Becca…..” Cassidy said a little confused as Rebecca came bursting into the bathroom.
“Hey Cassidy…..what are you doing in here? I thought you were still dancing with Brian?!”
“Uh No…..nothing. Why? What are you doing in here?!” Cassidy asked.
“Ummm…nothing, I just needed to go to the toilet,” Becca lied.
“Ummmm Becca?”
“Yeah….”
Cassidy’s head was drumming with thoughts.
“I…..uh….I think Brian wants to cheat on you with me!!”
”I think Nick wants to marry me or something drastic like that!!!” Both girls said at the same time.
They both paused for a second, staring confused at each other then suddenly began to laugh.

“Oh Brian , it was classic. You should have seen the look on Becca’s face.
“Shhh…less talk, more love..” Nick laughed as he told Brian what he has said to Becca.
Brian grinned, “You have to admit they did get us for a while there!”
Nick had a silly grin on his face as he remembered grinding with Becca.
“Hey wipe that grin off your face! You’d better not have been grinning about my girl…” Brian warned.
“I got your girl Brian!” Nick teased. Just then Cassidy and Rebecca emerged from the bathroom.
“Shhh…..” Brian elbowed Nick and motioned to the girls. Nick once again repeated his “less talk….more love” line. Loud enough that Cassidy and Becca could hear.
“That was not funny Nick Carter!!” Becca said unamused.
“Hey! You two vixens shouldn’t have been playing your little games!!” Nick grinned.
“You should have seen your face!”
“You can’t say you didn’t enjoy it!” Cassidy smirked.
“Oh yes he can…….can’t ya buddy…” Brian gave Nick a “harder than normal” friendly pat on the back.
“Well I…..” Nick was cut off by the room becoming completely dark and the opening chords of “The One” sounding through the room.
“You can dance with me anytime Bec!” Nick said cheekily. She punched him lightly on the arm.
“In your dreams Carter!” Becca said back.
“Hey cool! They’re showing the video clip!” Cassidy said excitedly as a projection screen was rolled into the room.

A short while after all the speeches and important stuff was heard, everyone was getting ready to leave.
“So are we having something at my place the night before we leave?” Nick asked.
Becca felt sad at the mention of the boys leaving but tried hard not to show her feelings, Cassidy noticed this and tried to think of something to cheer her up.
“Slumber party!! Cassidy suggested excitedly, Becca perked up a little at the suggestion.
“Ummmm….I’ll pass Cassidy, me and Julie just want to spend a little time together…” Howie said and wrapped his arm around Julie.
“Hey no one said anything about a slumber party!” Nick protested.
“Oh come on Nick how much fun would it be!?” Becca persuaded, the others nodded, smiling.
“Urgh….fine!” Nick relented as he saw Cassidy’s cute pleading face.

“Ok sleepover it is!” Cassidy smiled.
“Ummm….do we need to bring anything!?” AJ asked.
“Nah…I’ll make sue we have enough food and stuff….” Nick said grabbing his jacket.
“Ok cool! Who’s taking me home guys, since Kev’s gone clubbing with Leah and Becca’s going home with Brian…” Cassidy added as they walked out of the hotel.
“Who’s Leah?!?” everyone asked at once.
“That’s blonde he was dancing with. He introduced me before, she seems really nice….” Cassidy filled everyone in.
“Ok well I’ll take you home Cass, it’s on my way..” AJ offered kindly.
“Ok seeya guys…” Everyone said their goodbyes and wearily walked to their cars.
