Truth, Dare, Double Dare, Love, Kiss or Torture


“I’m just gonna go get a drink guys,” Brian got up and headed for the kitchen.
“So what are you gonna get Becca for her birthday?” Nick asked Cassidy as they cleaned the table up and started to carry the cutlery back into the kitchen.
“Well I was thinking…oh never mind….” Cassidy waved the thought away.
“What? What is it?” Kevin asked.
“Well,” Cassidy said stopping outside the kitchen doorway.
“Well?” Nick pushed.
“Well I was thinking that we’re both pretty much independent now, and we can’t always be dependent on you guys for rides and I have a nice amount in my savings. I was kinda thinking of putting a deposit on a car. Sort of like a present for both of us!” Cassidy smiled.

“Cool! That’d be the best present Cassidy….but don’t think we mind giving you rides or anything!” AJ said sweetly.
“So you think it’s a good idea?” Cassidy asked unsurely.
“I think it’s a great idea!” Nick said entering the kitchen, closely followed by AJ. Cassidy stayed outside when she saw Kevin’s disapproving face.
“What’s a great idea Nick?” Brian asked rinsing his glass in the sink and putting it upside down on the rack to dry.
“Cassidy putting a deposit on a car for Becca’s birthday…” Nick smiled.
“Yeah…hey what are you buyin’ for your lady Bri?” AJ asked.
“I don’t know….hey I don’t even know when her birthday is….” Brian realised.
“What?” Nick asked shocked.
“Becca’s birthday, what date is it?” Brian said slowly, not quite understanding the looks he was getting from AJ and Nick.

“You mean she didn’t tell you?” AJ said quietly.
“Tell me what?” Brian asked with dread in his stomach.
“Her birthday is two days before we come back man…” Nick said to Brian almost in a whisper. Brian stood there stunned, he then walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs without a word.

“Kev, what’s wrong?” Cassidy asked.
“How much are you planning to put on this car Cassidy?” Kevin asked cooly.
“Ummm a couple of grand I guess, why?” Cassidy was taken aback by Kevin’s question.
“Because I don’t know….you just got here and, I don’t know….”
“You don’t think it’s a good idea?” Cassidy asked timidly.
Kevin shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know…”
“Well…” Cassidy was cut off when Brian pushed in between her and Kevin and hurried up the stairs without a word.
“What’s wrong with him?” Kevin asked.
“I have a feeling Becca’s about to find out…” Cassidy answered.

“We’re in trouble…” AJ smacked his forehead as Brian stormed out of the kitchen.
“Why didn’t she tell him…” Nick said confused. He looked at Cassidy and Kevin who had just entered the kitchen with similar confused expressions.
“Who didn’t tell who what?” Cassidy asked.
“Becca didn’t tell Brian about her birthday..” AJ filled them in.
“What..why?" Kevin’s mouth dropped open.
Cassidy shrugged.
“Knowing Becca, she wouldn’t have told him just to….I don’t know, save complication..”
“What?” AJ asked incredulously.
“Becca hates thinking that she’s caused a big deal…I don’t know how to explain it….she just doesn’t like having people making a big fuss over her…” Cassidy attempted to explain.
“Well that’s fair enough I guess…and it’s really none of our business anyway…” Kevin reasoned.
“Yeah, come on guys lets not let it spoil our night…” AJ took a final sip out of his bottle of sprite.
“Yeah ok…what do you guys wanna do?” Nick asked.
“Hmmm….” Cassidy said thinking, her eyes fixed on the empty bottle in AJ’s hand.
“What Cassidy?” AJ said grinning.
“Truth or Dare anyone?”

“Becca are you in there?” Brian knocked on the door of the guest bathroom.
“Yeah hang on Bri I’m just…” But Brian just walked on in after hearing Becca’s voice. Becca startled, quickly threw on the bottoms of her satin ‘cloud’ pyjamas. (CN: Becca is crazy about cloud PJ’s!! She finally got some for Christmas this year!)
“Brian what’s wrong?” Becca asked moving closer to the figure now sitting on the edge of the bath with his eyes focused straight ahead of him.
“Brian…” Becca sat down next to him.
“Why didn’t you tell me about your birthday Becca?” Brian asked.
Becca held her head in her hands and sighed.
“Well?” Brian looked at her.
“I don’t know…I just didn’t want to fuss…and I didn’t want you to know how much I was going to miss you if you weren’t there for it, and I told you about my birthday then it would just make it such a big deal you know??” Becca said. “Becca, I love you! You could never be an inconvenience! Whether I’m in Canada or just around the corner…don’t ever feel like there’s something you can’t tell me..” Brian held Becca’s hands in his.
“Well, I just wanted to say…umm..well, I’m a virgin…” Becca added, her cheeks flushing slightly.
“What…” Brian was caught off guard.
“Brian, I’ve never had sex with anyone before..” Rebecca repeated. Brian sat there silent. It now fell into place, Becca’s insecurity when they got a little heavy, and the strip poker thing.
“Oh Becca I didn’t know..” Brian said softly.
“Sorry…” Rebecca said embarrassed, unable to look Brian in the eye.

“Listen to me Becca, you have nothing to be sorry about. I should be sorry for not even thinking about the possibility that you…please don’t feel bad, because I don’t know about you but that just makes this relationship even more special to me…” Brian said sweetly kissing Becca’s hand.
“I love you…” Becca smiled, relieved that Brian had responded just the way that she had wanted and needed him to.
“I love you too…” Brian said pulling Becca in for a kiss.
“Let’s go back downstairs, god knows what those four have gotten up to..” Brian said. Becca laughed which made him smile as they exited the bathroom hand in hand.
“Oh Becca..” Brian smiled as they walked down the stairs.
“Yeah?” She replied.
“Nice pajamas..” He winked. (BN: Look out Howie, that boy’s stealing your wink…but not if I have anything to do about it!)

“Alright AJ truth or dare?” Cassidy laughed as the bottle finished spinning.
“Ummm…truth…” AJ said taking a sip of the bottle of Tequila the trio had found in Nick’s cupboard. (BN: Haha Cassidy wrote this bit and when she had finished she realised she had left Kevin out if it! So for the sake of the story Kevin is out of the room making a phone call!)
“Oooo truth huh!” Cassidy said trying to think of a question for AJ, which was kinda hard since she had a pretty low alcohol tolerance and she was already a tittle tipsy. (BN: Hehe this is so true…although that’s a whole other story!) She looked around the lounge room.
“Today Cassidy…” Nick urged sarcastically taking the bottle off AJ and refilling his shot glass.
“Shutup Nick….alright I’ve got one…” Cassidy said taking another swig from the bottle.

“Yipeekayiyay!” Nick laughed and waved his arms in a “lasso” motion.
“Hmmm….drunk much Cowboy Carter?” Cassidy laughed.
“Will both you drunks get back to the game and Cassidy ask me the Godamn question??” AJ asked dryly watching Cassidy and Nick pretend lasso each other.
“Alright, Alright…” Cassidy sat up and handed the bottle to AJ. She continued. “Alexander McLean, have you ever used your fame to get laid…and if so, how many times…..truthfully.” Cassidy leaned back against the couch.
“Why I’m shocked Cassidy….never!” AJ’s eyes grew wide.
“Bull AJ! What about that blonde in Germany?!” Nick laughed as he recalled the memory.
“That was a mutual attraction! She told me she didn’t care about the money..” AJ defended.
“She didn’t speak English!” Nick shot back. The three of them looked at each other after Nick’s last comment and burst out laughing.

“Spin the bottle AJ…” Cassidy said as Kevin walked in and took a seat on the couch. AJ spun the sprite bottle in the center and the others watched intently. Kevin looked at the bottle of Tequila in AJ’s grasp and took it off him, taking a sip. He grinned as the bottle stopped facing Nick.
“You sure your up to this Nicky boy?” Kevin taunted as he took another swig.
“Shutup Kevin…I’ll do a dare AJ…” Nick said strongly.
“Excellent….” AJ rubbed his hands together.
“Hey guys…” Brian and Becca walked in and sat down.
“Hey…” Everyone responded. They were all eager to know what happened upstairs, but decided against bringing it up. “Alright you gotta dare AJ?” Nick said impatiently.
“Ooo truth and dare…I LOVE this game….remember when we dared Kirstie to strip for those guys on school camp and she did it…and then Mr. Collins walked in??” Becca giggled. (CN: True story!! You’re a nutter Kirst!) Cassidy cracked up laughing. “Oh god yeah! Mr. Collins’ face! But what’s the bet he thought about it many time afterwards!?” Cassidy giggled uncontrollably.
“Ok, Cassidy sweetie…no more drinkies for you…” AJ took the bottle from Cassidy.
“I’m not drunk….I’m just….giggly…” Cassidy managed to get out between giggles.
“Hmmm in that case I think I’d prefer it if you were drunk!” Brian joked.
“ANYWAY…..my dare for Nickolas…” AJ grinned evilly.
