“I’m glad Krissy interrupted us the other day..” Nick said softly.
“And you’re Mum…” Cassidy let out a small giggle.
“Mmmm…” Nick closed his eyes briefly, remembering the events of last night.
“I don’t wanna do anything today…..just lie here with you…” Cassidy smiled as she watched the snow fall steadily on the city below.
“If only….” Nick smiled, snuggling closer to her.
“I love you Nick….” She looked up at him.
“I love you more….” He replied, gently kissing her forehead.

“Becca wake up…” Brian nudged Becca softly.
“Mmmm….” Becca groaned, rolling over slightly. Brian grinned, crawling under the covers. Ever so lightly he lifted her shirt up, and began to blow a raspberry on her stomach. Rebecca began to giggle.
“Brian!!” She laughed, looking under the covers. Brian’s grinning face soon popped up.
“What are you doing?!” Becca asked sleepily.
“We’re going to the rehersal for MTV Europe Awards today fairy princess…” Brian grinned, sliding up to her face and kissing her nose.
“Come on, get up…” He smiled.
“Well I can’t when you’re on top of me!” Becca said amused.
“Well actually, this isn’t so bad….maybe we should skip the rehersal…” Brian grinned mischievously.
Becca grinned, screwing up her nose, “Come on….Awards practice…You’re gonna kick butt tomorrow night!!” Becca laughed, pushing Brian up.
“I’ll just have a shower….” Becca smiled, heading off to the bathroom.
“Hmm that’s my cue to join you huh…” Brian grinned, lying on the bed.
“I’m not stopping you…” Becca laughed.

AJ stirred slightly.
“Oh your love’s so good, I don’t wanna let go…”

“What the…” AJ sat up slightly, then flopped back down he realised that it was Kirstie singing in the next room. “I’m finished with chasing that girl….” He sighed, starring up at the ceiling.

”And although I should, I can’t leave you alone…”

“Ergh…..” AJ grabbed a nearby pillow and attempted to drown out Kirstie’s beautiful voice.

“Woah…” Becca raised her eyebrows, impressed as they entered the enormous auditorium that the MTV Europe awards would be held at the following night.
“Ooo Tom Jones!” Nadine giggled and pointed to the small figure doing a sound check on center stage.
“Yeah Baby…” Kirstie laughed.
“Show us some on those pelvis thrusts Tommy….” Cassidy began yelling before Nick clamped her mouth shut.
“Guys…you’ve got to fitted up over there…” Denise pointed. “Girls, you’ll stay out here and watch some of the performances…ok..” Denise said clearly.
“Cool..” Cassidy smiled, letting go of Nick’s hand. He blow a kiss before continuing with the guys to get fitted up.

“Hey cool…..Mandy Moore’s gonna perform!” Becca said excitedly as they took a seat in the audience.
“GO MANDY!!!” Cassidy yelled.
“Man Shutup!! We can’t take you anywhere!!” Kirstie laughed.

Kirstie listened closely to the words, she turned and watched AJ joking with Howie and the rest of the guys. AJ saw her and stopped laughing, he simply looked straight back at her. And although it was only for a moment, it felt like the world had stopped revolving and it was just them.
“Kirst…” Becca grinned, waving a hand in front of her face.
“Huh..what!?” Kirstie snapped back.
Cassidy laughed, “ You ok?”
“Yeah fine…” Kirstie looked back to where the guys had been, but they were already backstage.

Backstage

“Hey Nadine…” Howie called.
“Yeah Howie?” Nadine smiled.
“Oh nothing…” Howie grinned, teasing her. She pushed him back playfully.
“Hey you wanna come with me tomorrow night?” Howie asked innocently.
“Ummm yeah…that’d be cool…” Nadine grinned widely.
“You steal the show anyway…” Howie grinned as Nadine and the rest of the dancers ran onto the stage to begin “It’s Gotta Be You.” (BN: I know they wouldn’t usually perform this at an awards show but I thought it’d be cool….plus I’m listening to it now!)
“You steal the show anyway!!” Kevin and Brian turned to Howie with raised eyebrows.
“What!?” Howie asked innocently.
“Flirting much!?” Brian laughed.
“What about Holly man?” Kevin asked amused.
“What!? Me and Nadine are just friends….” Howie replied.
“You’d better tell her that…” Kevin shook his head as they took their positions.

“OooOoO!!” There they are!” The girls squealed excitedly.
“Mmmm they look buff…” Cassidy grinned.
“They do…” Kirstie nodded.
“Anyone in particular….” Becca looked at Kirstie.
“Yeah….Kevin!” Kirstie said indignantly, poking her tongue.

“God look at those N*Sync wannabies….” A blonde girl said loudly.
All three girls turned around abruptly.
“What the hell did you just say!” Becca spat at the 3 girls seated a few rows back.
“We weren’t talking to you…God rudeness!” Another girl said flicking her brunette hair behind her.
“Who the hell are you!?” Cassidy said getting up.
“Kelly….JC Chasez’s girlfriend….” The blonde said matter-of-factly.
“Oh God…they’re N*Sync’s girls……..” Kirstie rolled her eyes.
“Look at those pansy’s up there……they’re gonna make of fool of themselves tonight….” The girls continued to ignore Becca, Cassidy and Kirstie and continue with their conversation.
“Our boys have got easy competition for tomorrow night…..”
The boys finished shortly, running off the stage.

”Ohh…did you see the one with the glasses….AJ is it?….talk about a freak..”
“That’s it bitch!!” Kirstie jumped her seat.
“Chill…what’s you’re problem…” The girl put her hand’s up defensively.

The boys joked around as they walked back into the arena.
“Woah….catfight…what’s going on..” Nick asked amused.
“I dunno….but Kirstie just jumped a couple of seats….” Brian said, looking briefly at AJ.
“Here we go…” AJ said, jogging up to the girls.

“Oh….you’re their slut girlfriends we heard about…your Becca right..” The Brunette said smuggly.
Becca’s eyes bulged out of her head.
“Excuse me…” She hissed.
“Oh sorry…did I say slut…I meant 2c hooker…” She smiled sickly sweet.
“Can I just say something honey…..vinyl was never in!? Cassidy said looking the girl up and down.
“Hey my man is 10 times better than that skinny runt of yours…AJ is it…” Kelly spat at Kirstie.
The guys stopped dead in their tracks at the heard the contents of the argument.
“Oh and I bet you’re dating that runt Justin…..yeah you look his type….skanky hair, bad boob job….honey, who did your nose, cause if I was you…I’d ask for a refund!..” Kirstie grinned.
The boys walked over slowly, Brian wrapped his arms around Becca’s waist. Nick doing the same to Cassidy.
“Oh here they are now….” The unspoken girl started.
“Yeah, keep your dirty hands off…” Kirstie said heated.
“See ya tomorrow…..we’ll see who’s the better men then….or in your case shall we say boys!” Kelly said before the three girls walked off.

“Kirst you….” AJ looked down at her.
“I’m sick of the games AJ…” Kirstie said kissing him passionately, his arms pulling her closer.
“About damn time!” Becca and Cassidy laughed.
