Cool 911!

LIME: It's been ages since we last saw you, spike! Any
changes in the image department?

Spike: The same, actually. Lee's hair is back to his
natual dark brown now and Jimmy dyed his blond!

LIME: What's up with the band?

Spike: We've got the greatest Hits album coming up in
October - it's called The Greatest Hits... And a
Little Bit More! There'll be 14 tracks, including two
new singles. One of them, "Wonderland", is co-written
by Lee and will be out this month.

LIME: A lot of bands split up after releasing their
greatest hits compilation...

Spike: Nah, that's not happening to 911- We're already
planning another album. We've been busy writting songs
for it. (Proudly) I've done a few tracks, too, they're
mostly fast numbers. In fact, the wold CD will be
penned by us! It should be out sometime next year!

LIME: The spice girl and Boyzone have been branching
into solo project lately. Are 911 heading that that
direction, too?

Spike: No, we like being in a group. Next year, we
might do a bit of acting on TV or in the movie. I
would't mind a role as a dashing fella who gets all
the gals!

LIME: Is it true the Moffatts are gonna be your
supporting act for your UK tour this month?

Spike: I think so - actually, we don't know yet. I
have never met them really. But I walkled past them
once! Hoho!

LIME: We heard Jimmy is writting a song with Gary
Barlow
for a new girl group Precious. Any truth in
that?

Spike: Yeah, Jimmy has been writing with Gary, but I
don't know  if it's for Precious.

LIME: As a veteran in the pop world, what do you think
of fresh acts like Westlife, S club 7, 21st century
Girls and Lolly? Which is your star pick?

Spike: I don't really know too much about these bands
but they seem okay. My fave is S club 7. I like the
birds! Heh heh!

LIME: Now that you're so used to your pop-stars
lifestyle, do you reckon you can ever go back to
lead an ordinary life?

Spike: Yeah, probably someday! I've been out a bit
lately and I've been alright. But I'm happy being a
pop star rigth now.

LIME: Tabloids are always spreading rumours about pop
stars paring up. Which laydee would you want to be
linked with?

Spike: Have you seen starship Troopers? Denise
Richards? Yeah, I want her! Have I ever met her?
(passionately) I wish!

LIME: Have you ever scribbled ruderies when
signing autographs?

Spike: Never! A few people have asked us to write
something rude, but I've never volunteered, you know?
I don't start every sentence with a swear word, too.
I'm basically well-behaved - just as long as I don't
get caught! (chuckles)

LIME: 911 recently recorded the dute 'Private Number'
with Singapore actress/singer Fann Wong. Do you know
anything about her ar all?

Spike: Not too much, she seemd very nice. We all fancy
her! Hoho! Did we ask for her phone number? No! We
were working! But I wouldn't mind asking for her
number in private! Haw haw! I think we met her when we
were at singapore the last time. (Guesses wildly)
Er... she has dark hair. And she's very short, right?

LIME: Actually, she's 1.73m tall.

Spike: Oh, (Embarrassed silence) I guess she's very
tall then!
