Unfortunately, Summersault '99 will NOT take place. Raine recently announced this in the Cracks in the Pavement on April 14. The band is busy making the new album, and does not feel that they could put on a 'full-assed' festival. Too bad.

Well, if you don't know why there's OLP news today, all we have to say is, "DUH!" For anyone saying duh, we apologize, but Happiness... is not a Fish that You Can Catch was released today in Canada. Look for an American release one week from today, September 28, 1999.
Also, we're not quite sure why, but OLP are touring the US with Creed and Oleander later this month. They say they'll hit Canada sometime in the new year.

Sunday November 21 saw OLP, along with some lucky extras, in a church basement filming the video for "Is Anybody Home?". The official website gave instructions on how to become an extra-simply being over 16, and e-mailing your name and phone number to OLP would suffice. The people they choose were to be phoned on Sunday, and told the address to the church.
Unfortunately, OLP bumped up the age limit to 18, and a lot of people were dissapointed. However, there were not enough extras, so they began letting in anybody. This, understandably, pissed a few people off, as they had been sitting at home waiting for a phone call, and were unable to make it to the shoot on time.
Regardless, the "Is Anybody Home?" video and single is due to be released on December 14, and it's theme is said to be the end of the world. Watch for it on MuchMusic.

Yesterday, the new video for Is Anybody Home? was premiered on Much music. Also, there was a two-part spotlight on OLP yesterday and today. If you're in the Pied Piper's Union, look in your boxes.
