Gigs big and small enlivened 1998

1. Our Lady Peace (SkyReach Centre, January 23)-It's fashionable to pooh-pooh this group as a Smashing Pumpkins knock-off, but without much of an international buzz OLP sold over 12,000 tickets to this show. They're the first Canuck band since the Tragically Hip to achieve those kinds of concert attendance numbers on home turf. Good on ya.
