Well, this was certainly a day to be reckoned with. The first mistake we made was going out and getting completely wasted the friday before the show. We now know that we don't recover well from that kind of alcohol use. :(
In any case, we, being the musically-deprived ones, showed up at the stadium at around 8:30 (you know, just in case we couldn't find the line up...). And OH the joys of the line up!

In any case, I decided that we need another camera, so, I took a walk. Not being in my usual area of the city, I didn't quite grasp how freakin' far the gas station was from the stadium. In any case, I successfully bought a disposable camera, and worked off some calories from my enjoyable hour-long-sunday-morning walk.
This part is always the most boring...blah blah blah we finally got into the stadium, and secured a place on the front barrier. But, (this is why we shouldn't have drank so much) we didn't deem the spot worthy of staying, and decided we wouldn't be able to stand it. So we wandered around, I got some compliments on my tank top (uh...thanks, I guess....), and we slowly developed our "tans" (if that's what you want to call it).
Well, it was pretty boring. For me, anyway. Being the weirdo I am, I really wanted to meet the bands...here's the best part. We were sitting in the stands (really really really far away) and I spotted a blonde head backstage. Now, this was a blonde head that was about as big as an ant. But, by some freakish coincidence, I KNEW it was Mike Turner. So, we ran. We ran like we've never ran before. Down the stairs and across the stadium to Mike's houze we go! Unfortunately, Mike had with him the Gorrilla Radio guy (sp?) and this guy kept asking us if we had anything to say...I mean, what DO you say? Sorry for blowing you off buddy, I was trying to meet Mike. :)

So, uhm, that was really the best part of Summersault for me...oh wait, I guess they played, didn't they? i can't remember the setlist, but they did play Life and Everyone's a Junkie...the highlight for me was when Raine fell down...tee hee...anyhoo...you know how concerts go...oh yeah, Raine climbed the side of the stage too....
Here, someone else can talk now....bye bye
