Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace will come back to earth with "Gravity."

Sony Music Canada confirmed that the Toronto band's fifth album will arrive in stores June 11. A single, "Somewhere Out There," goes to radio on April 2.

The album is the band's first since the departure of guitarist Mike Turner, who split during the making of "Gravity", which was recorded in Hawaii with producer Bob Rock (Metallica, The Cult, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Loverboy). Sony said the new album was mixed by Randy Staub, whose credits include Nickelback.

Last month, the band announced a worldwide search for a new guitarist, and asked hopefuls to send in resumes and videos showing off their guitar prowess. That search was to end March 31.

Drummer Jeremy Taggart told JAM! Music in February that "Gravity" is "by far our best record," and would mark a change for the group.

"This, for me, is such a departure, in terms of the sound and simplicity of the songs. It is a completely brand new thing for me," he said.

Under Rock's ministrations, the new OLP music is more direct and energetic than any of their previous efforts, Taggart added.

"It definitely marks a new chapter in our lives. Maybe Chapter Two."
