Hey guess what? I bet you didn't realize that the man above helped produce Nirvana's Nevermind - one of the most successful grunge albums of all time! Born Brian Vigorson, Butch was raised in Viroqua, Wisconsin. He got the nick name "butch" at a very young age because his dad used to shave his head every two weeks. Butch studied the piano until sixth grade and then he practiced the drums on a 60 dollar kit. Later on he became interested in sythesizers. He and Duke used to be in a few different bands including Fire Town, Spooner and Rectal Drip. And now he is the drummer of garbage but he also helps produce the loops and effects in some of the songs.
