Duke Erikson, born Doug Erikson, was born in 1952. Growing up in the small town of Lyons Nebraska Duke idolized Jeff Beck, Tom Verlaine, John Lennon, and Lou Reed. Some of the bands he used to be in include Spooner and Fire Town. In college he studied art. And now he's playing the guitar, fuzz bass, and keyboards in a great band called garbage.
