This week who but Goran Visnjic from ER showed up. He asked for something I usually dont do - - a shampoo and a buzz - - but, well, there is a first for everything - - -
Goran sat in the chair and I slowly tilted him back. I turned the water on and tested it to make sure it was not too hot or too cold. Then I tilted his head back and slowly ran the water through is thick longish (5 - 6 all over) brown hair. I squeezed a drop of shampoo in my hands and rubbed them together. Then I slowly ran my hands through his hair from the nape of his neck to his crown. Slowly and firmly massaging the shampoo in the back and then the top of his head and the sides. Over and over slowly rubbing my hands through his thick long brown hair. Then time to rinse. Tilt back his head and slowly run the water through his hair. Rub my hands through his thick wet hair making sure all the shampoo is rinsed out.
I put a towel around his broad shoulders and slowly tilted the chair back up. Then I slowly toweled his thick long brown hair until it was somewhat dry, but still very damp. I took out my comb and combed out his thick long hair so that it covered his ears and collar and fell over his beautiful blue eyes.
I set the comb down and out came the scissors. Starting on his right side just above his eyebrows I started snipping straight across. Snip, snip, snip. Thick, wet brown bangs fell to the cape. Over to the left. Snip, snip, snip. More thick brown hair on the cape. Then, on the left side, I took what was left of his bangs between my index finger and fore finger next to his head and snip, snip, snip. What was left of the bangs fell to the cape leaving almost 1/4 of brown stubble. Then moving straight back across the top of his head cutting left to right snip, snip, snip. 6 of thick wet brown hair falls to the cape. Next, section. Again and again. Take his thick long wet brown hair between my fingers and snip, snip, snip reduce it to 1/4 of stubble. All the way back to his crown.
Then to his left side. This time take a section of thick wet brown hair and cut up vertically. Snip, snip, snip. 5 of thick wet brown hair falls to the floor. Over and over again around the left side of his head. Snip, snip, snip up. Thick brown hair down on the floor. Reducing all that thick brown mop to 1/4 stubble. To the back. Grab section vertically and snip, snip snip. 6 of wet brown hair tumbles to the floor. Again, snip, snip, snip straight up the back of his head to the crown. Over and over again chopping off all that long thick brown hair across the back of his head. Grab a section vertically and snip, snip, snip up - - there it goes falling to the floor. To the right side of his head. Snip, snip, snip straight up the side of his head. Thick wet hair ends up on the floor. Long thick wet hair between my fingers, take scissors and snip, snip, snip straight up the side of his head. Toss the hair aside. See it fall to the floor. Again and again until only stubble all over.
By now the short hair has dried so - - out comes my trusty Oster and put on the #1 (3/32) attachment. Click on the clippers and starting on his right side slowly run the clippers up the side of his head buzzing down that 1/4 stubble to 3/32 fuzz. Over and over again. Buzz up the side of his head and watch the fluffy brown stubble float to the floor. All the way around his head. Slowly buzz the clippers up and the stubble gets reduced to fuzz. Around to the back and to the left. Buzz up fuzz down. Rub my hand up the back of his head. Mmm, mmm good. Clippers buzz up fuzz floats down. To the top. Run the clippers straight back across the top of his head mowing down all that thick 1/4 stubble to a prickly 3/32 fuzz. Buzz back, see the stubble float back down to the floor. Over and over again, slowly buzz straight back getting rid of all the thick stubble, leaving just brown fuzz. Done. Then buzz all over again just to be sure.
Take off the attachment and slowly shave off his long, wide, thick sideburns even with the top of his ears. Then clean up the back of his neck. Click off the clippers and take out the shaving cream. Lather up around his ears and the back of his neck. Slowly, glide the straight razor around his ears and the back of his neck, defining and cleaning up the edges. Then slowly lather up and shave his beautiful face. Put the razor down and apply tonic. Slowly massage tonic around his ears and the back of his neck and his handsome face.
Anything else sir? Another shampoo? No problem. Slowly tilt the chair back and run the water over his very buzzed head. Apply shampoo. Slowly massage the shampoo over his prickly, buzzed head rubbing my hands all over his head. Rinse slowly and carefully. Repeat. Slowly, massage shampoo. Rub again and again all over his head. Feel the prickly bristles of his very buzzed head. Rinse out the shampoo slowly rubbing my fingers across the top of his buzzed head and up the back of his buzzed head. Put towel around his neck and tilt the chair back up. Rub the towel all over his buzzed head slowly and firmly. All dry.
Goran got out of the chair and rubbed his hands all over his very buzzed head. Nice and prickly he said. He flashed that fab smile and left. Oh, my, heart palpitations - - Is there a doctor in the house?
