Over the past year we have seen Ricky Martin go from a cute short cut to a shaggy mop. Well, it would seem he was tired of the mop and wanted a change. So . . . Ricky “The Mop Top” Martin came in and asked for a shampoo and shave. (Yes, my bon bon was shaking.)

I tilted back the chair and turned on the water. When the water was just right, I ran the water through his thick, long, shaggy sandy brown hair. Then, I put a dab of shampoo in my hand and slowly and firmly massaged the shampoo through his hair. Slowly, I massaged the shampoo all over his head running my fingers though all that thick brown hair. I tilted his head back and rinsed the shampoo out, gently lifting his thick long hair and rinsing the shampoo out of each section of hair. Turned off the water and put a towel over his head and tilted the chair upright. Slowly and firmly I toweled his hair dry. (What a mop!)

I took out the scissors and tilted his head forward and went snip, snip, snip straight across the back of his neck. 4” of thick damp sandy brown hair fell to the floor. I vertically sectioned off some more thick brown mop and snip, snip, snip straight up the back of his head. Brown hair tumbles to the floor. Snip, snip, snip up. Thick sandy brown mop down. Over and over again reducing all that mop down to about an inch all across the back of his head and around to the sides. Then I took a section on top at his crown and snip, snip, snip. Moved forward next moppish section, snip, snip, snip. Again and again. Snip, snip, snip. Chopping off all that sandy brown mop on top. Brown hair cascading into his lap. To the front to his fringe, snip, snip, snip. Just about 1 inch all over left. Set scissors down. See mounds of thick sandy brown mop all over the cape and floor.

Out comes Oster clippers, no attachement. Click on. Tilt head forward. Run clippers straight back across the top of his head to his crown. Buzz back again. 1 inch of brown hair floats to the cape and floor. Buzz back over and over shaving off all the remaining brown locks leaving a bristly, stubbly top. To his right. Shave straight up the side of his head. Buzz up, slowly. Brown hair floats down. Buzz up again and again, around his ear. To the back buzz up slowly. See the 1 inch of brown hair fall to the floor. All across the back of his head. Buzz up. Brown hair down. Run my fingers up the back of his buzzed head slowly and firmly. Mmmmmm. To the left. Buzz around his ear towards the front. See brown hair fall on to the cape. Then, slowly buzz up the side of his head again and again reducing all that thick 1 inch brown hair to stubble. Run clippers all over his head. Click off clippers. Rub fingers all over his very buzzed head. Ooooo. Prickly.

Shaving lotion. Slowly massage shaving lotion all over his buzzed head. Mach 3. Slowly glide the M3 straight back across the top of his head. Rub fingers back across. Mmmmm. Smooooth. Again M3 straight back. Rub. Mmmmm. Over and over again glide the M3 back shaving off all that prickly stubble all over the top of his head. To the right. Glide slowly straight back. Rub. Glide. Rub. Glide. Rub. Oh, my. To the back. Glide straight up the back of his head. Slowly. Rub. Slowly. So nice. Glide. Rub. Over and over again. Shave down all that bristly stubble to silky smooth perfection. To the left. Glide M3 up the side of his head slowly. Rub. Glide. Rub. So smooooth. Glide up. Get rid of the stubble. Rub. Mmmm, mmm good. Glide and rub all over his head again. Set M3 down. Tonic. Slowly and firmly massage the tonic all over his bald head. Rub with fingers and palms. Soooo very smooooth. Done.

Damn.

Ricky gets out of the chair and looks in the mirror. He rubs his hands all over his bald head. He smiles that billion volt smile and says “Much better. Cio, bella.” He bangs.
