Well, Totti looked at John and said "No way." Then Totti looked at Zach and said, "Let's get started." He turned and went down the front steps.

"Wait," said John, "we'll come along. My cabin is not far from the summit and there is a great view of the waterfall and pond from there."

"Ok," Totti said. The rest of us quickly grabbed what we could and put it in our cabin. John whispered that he had a portable generator at his cabin and that we should bring the clippers. Casey and I looked at each other and grinned. Zach grabbed his stuff and John helped Casey and I gather up the things we would need for the hike.

The hike was harder than I thought it would be and we were all hot and sweaty. Totti kept on wipping his brow and pulling his straight brown long hair out of his eyes. Zach and John kept on talking about how much fun the hike was and how amazed at how cool they both felt. Totti had to stop several times to splash his face with water from his canteen.

Casey and I were behind Totti and both Zach and John were in front of Totti. So, no matter which way he looked, all Totti saw were either buzzed heads or completely smooth bald heads. None of the rest of us complained about how hot we were.

After about two hours, we reached the clearing where John's cabin was and just as he had said not fifty yards away were the falls and the pond. We put our stuff in the cabin and Totti said he could use a shower. John told him the best shower was the waterfall because the cabin's water came from an old pump system that just did not work well. John said that the water was brackish and came out in just a trickle because the pipes and pump were so bad.

Totti laughed and said we would say anything to make him cut his long hair. John smiled and told Totti that he had been warned. The rest of us headed for the pond and waterfall. It was deep enough to dive in on the side where the cabin was, but very shallow right under the falls.

We each stripped down and jumped in the pool. Oooooooo, sooooo cold but so refreshing after that long hot hike. Casey had brought some little soaps so we all showered under the beautiful waterfall.

John and Zach were rubbing each others heads and Casey and I, well, we were just rubbing.

About then we heard a shout and looked and there on the shore was Totti covered in muck and looking very upset. Well, John had warned him. We all swam over to the shore and helped Totti into the pond by tossing him in. His mood did not improve. We managed to get him over to the waterfall and helped him wash the muck off.

His straight long brown hair was matted to his face and neck. He leaned his head back and let the waterfall wash over his face and he used one of the soaps and washed as much of the muck out of his hair as best he could.

John told him that he would need to cut his hair because there was no way to get all of the muck off. Totti refused. He jumped into the deepest part of the pond and went under for as long as he could several times all the while frantically trying to get his long straight brown hair untangled and un-mucked.

The rest of us had gone ashore and dried off and put on new duds and John brought the portable generator out on the front porch and he and Zach set up a little barber shop.

Totti finally came out of the pond defeated. He had managed to get a lot of the muck and grime out but not all. It was matted in several places. Totti saw the chair, generator and the table with a blow dryer and the clippers. He glared at everyone and said "Well, I hope you're all happy." We tried to look sorry for him, but it didn't work.

He sat down on the chair and sighed and said "Ok, shave it all off."

First, I wrapped the cape around him and then took the scissors and held up the right side of his bangs and snipped off 8" of wet matted hair and dropped it on the cape. "What are you doing, just shave it off." Tottie said. I explained that I needed to cut off all the matted hair first and then I could use the clippers. That seemed to calm him down some. John and Zach were trying hard not to laugh, but as I went around Totti's head snip, snip, snip wet matted hair on the cape, the two of them were snickering. By the time I was done his lovely long brown hair was all sorts of lengths from 9" to 1" in places. Zach and John laughed out loud.

Totti asked for a mirror to see just how bad it was. He looked stunned when he saw his image. "Get the clippers." Was all he could say.

First, I got the blow dryer out and plugged it into the generator and slowly went around Totti's head rubbing his straight brown hair with one hand and holding the blow dyer with the other. Slowly, rubbing and drying all over his head. This seemed to calm him and he relaxed. In fact he was smiling and you could hear the faintest deep purring sound from him by the time I was done rubbing and drying.

I turned the blow dryer off, unplugged it and set it on the table. Then I undid the cape and shook off the wet matted hair into a trash can. I wrapped the cape around his neck again. Then I picked up the Oster clippers and plugged them in. I did not put a blade on and moved the guide all the way up.

Click on the clippers. Hear the purrrrrrr of the clippers. Tilt his head forward. Bring the clippers to the middle of his forhead and slowly guide the clippers back across the top of his head. See the straight brown hair fall to the cape leaving brown stubble. Rub fingers across the newly shaved strip. Mmmmm, rough like sandpaper. Will fix that later. Bring the clippers back across the top of his head over and over again. Rub fingers over the brown sandpaper like stubble. Mmmmmm.

Buzzzzz back. Rub. Buzzzz back. Rub. See all that straight brown hair tumbling onto the cape. Once the top is stubble, move to his righside tilt his head away and slowly glide the clippers up the right side of his face removing that long, wide thick sideburn. Continue up the side of his head shaving off all that straight brown hair. Rub fingers over the freshly shorn section. Mmmmmmm. Buzzzzz up. Rub up and down. Get rid of all that straight brown hair. Around his right ear. Buzzzz up. Rub up and down up and down. Buzzzz up. Rub up and down. See the brown hair fall to the cape and the porch.

Move to the back of his head. Tilt his head forward. Slowly buzzzz the clippers up the back of his head removing what's left of the mullet-like locks of straigh brown hair. Buzzzz up. Rub up and down. Over and over back up his head. Shaving off all that straight brown hair leaving just brown stubble. Mmmmmm. Buzzzz up. Rub up and down up and down. Done in back.

Move towards the leftside. Move clippers forward around his left ear towards the front. Buzzzzz. Straight brown hair falls onto the cape. Buzzzz up the left side of his head shaving off all the straight brown hair. Glide the clippers up the leftside of his face removing that long thick wide sideburn. Continue up the side of his head. Buzzz up. Rub up and down up and down. Again and again. Cropping all that brown hair down to stubble. Done.

Run the clippers all over his head again. Buzzzzz and rub up and down all over. Click off clippers and set them down.

Totti rubs his hands all over his buzzed head says it feels like sandpaper. I smile my sweetest smile and tell him, "Not for long." He asks for a mirror first. He looks at himself and says, "Not bad. Now shave it smooth."

Slowly and firmly I rub shaving lotion all over his buzzed head. Mmmm. I take out a new Mach3 Turbo and slowly glide the razor back across the top of his head. Glide. Rub fingers back and forth. Glide razor. Rub back and forth. All over the top of his head. Glide. Rub. Glide. Rub.

Over and over back and forth, glide, rub. Glide. Rub.

Tilt Totti’s head away and glide the Mach 3 Turbo up the right side of Totti’s head. Rub up and down. Glide up. Rub up and down. Glide up. Rub up down. Around to the back of Totti’s head. Slowly glide the Mach 3 Turbo up the back of Totti’s head. Slowly, rub up and down, up and down. Glide up, rub up and down. Glide up. Rub up and down. Totti’s breathing slows and he's barly making a sound, his face has a slight smirk while I steadily shave his head smooth.

Move to Totti’s left side and glide the Mach 3 Turbo up the side of Totti’s head. Rub up and down. Again and again shaving all across the side of Totti’s head. Making it smooooth and shiny. Glide up. Rub up and down, up and down. Done.

I put the Mach 3 down. I then get the Wintergreen tonic. Slowly, gently, I massage the tonic all over Totti's head. He hums while I massage my hands all over his silky smooth head. Totii seems entranced by getting tonic massaged all over his head. Slowly, gently, intently massaging the tonic on Totti's head. Done.

Totti rubs his hand all over his smooth head and growls in pleasure. John walks over and rubs his hands all over Totti's bald head as does Zach. I take the cape off him and Totti picks up the mirror and says, " I should have done this ages ago." He rubs his head again and then rubs his hands all over John and Zach's heads.

Good night from Bald Mountain.
