Well, we have quite a bit of news for you, since we haven't updated since February!! Of course I won't be able to remember it all, but it's not important...Let's see, OLP has opted to skip the live disc they were planning on doing since they found they had been creative enough to put out a new studio. Speaking of which, OLP is in the studio, creating. (Aren't you just SO excited!?!?) OLP have also decided to cancel the PPU. Duncan had this to say:

Dear Pied Pipers Union members, Jeremy, Mike, Raine and I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that we are shutting down the P.P.U. The good news, however, is that we are working on a new way to continue our relationship in a manner that will not cost you a yearly fee. We have been exploring different ways of communication through the internet that would still include mailings, but it is too premature to make any concrete promises. This is an exciting time for us. We have been writing songs together and are looking forward to entering the studio in the near future. We have completely appreciated your support over the years and look forward to continuing our relationship in the future. Sincerely, Duncan.

OLP have also appeared on "Music Without Borders" on MuchMusic, speaking out about the recent attacks on New York City.

Although this happened on Wednesday, we couldn't bring ourselves to put it on here 'till now:

Our Lady Peace And Guitarist Mike Turner Separate

December 12, 2001

Citing musical and creative differences, Mike Turner and Our Lady Peace have amicably separated.

Our Lady Peace return from recording a series of songs in Maui, HA with Bob Rock this week. The band plan to return to Hawaii in January for 2-3 weeks to complete recording their fifth album, which will be released in 2002.

A replacement guitarist has not been named at this point.

We couldn't help but notice that OLP's press release used the exact same language as when they fired Chris. Funny. We wish Mike the best out of life from here on in.
