UK Chart Success

Uk Sound of Drums Kula21cdUk Sound of Drums Kula21cdx

Sound of Drums went to No.3   first week of sales.  It was close competition between Kula and Boyzone as they battled it out for No.1 Mid-week sales suggested Kula would be top but Boyzone bet them to it.  Next single we will be No.1!!  The second week Kula slipped to , Have you seen the video? It was recorded at their sold out revolution for fun tour all over Britian and I'm in it!!! If you see it look out for two very heavily wrecked girls waving into the camera like psychos!!!

KULA IN THE WARS AGAIN

The Anti-Nazi League have asked Kula Shaker not to release their new single on Adolf Hitler's birthday.  Sound of Drums is due out on April 20, the 109th anniversary of Hitler's birth.  A band spokeswoman says: "No one was aware it was Hitler's birthday." Frontman Crispian Mills upset the ANL last year by saying: "Hitler knew a lot more than he made out." He added he would love a flaming swastika in his stage act.

New Single - Sound of Drums

Well, its been a year since we heard the lovely sound of Hush (a year already???) and waiting for a new single has been quite a nail biting experience.  Their debut album 'K' was a mixture of 60s retro/rock but with a strong influence of Indian culture, so what will influence their next album? I have heard two new tracks which I'm not quite sure if they will be on their new album but I will say that they are F#%$&*G Excellent!! (Excuse my French..) For this love is one song which I think would  make non-KULA fans to like them because it is a sort of ballad BUT not too soppy BUT really KULA Shaker style. The next song which is DEFINITELY their new single is called SOUND OF THE DRUM.  Radio 1 and Virgin have been playing this non-stop since they got it in and I really like it. At first I was worried that they might turn out like lots of bands do, good debut album but the next sounds too much like the first. (Take Oasis for example) The song is a cracking song and I am sure it will enter the top 10, maybe not number 1 (Because of the complete crap that has made it to number so far this year, course KULA could change this...) but very possibly number 2.  So when it comes out in April  20, I very much hope EVERYONE will buy it so KULA get more recognition in the music biz.
