Here you will learn about me, the creator of Music Central.

I am a 16 year-old white male with long, curly hair. If I ever get some pictures of myself, you will see that my hair is not presently curly. The reason for this is: since I was in elementary school, I was teased about my hair! So, I straightened it. Interesting, no?

I decided to create Music Central in the hope that it would grow and unify the music community on the Internet.

I presently go to one of the best High Schools in the nation, the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology. There, I am in band: the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. I also am in the Marching Band, the Marching Colonials. I told you that I would tell you about American Pie, well it is the song that our (and many other) marching band uses as a loving, communal song. About school: I'm not doing particularly well, ya' know, a couple Bs, maybe a C, and some As.

I am also a member of the Tracking community. If you don't know what that is, I'll tell you:

Tracking: writing music on the computer using a program, a tracker, which allows the person to write notes on different tracks (channels [voices]), which, when played using a program to play tracked music, are played in sequence, creating an organized pattern of notes.
(It's another way of writing music on the computer, besides MIDI)
I can't stand to write techno music, so I just do my own thing. That is, I write semi-modern, classical music. I'm still learning, though. I was taught how to track by Xenoc. He is presently with the group, Analogue (when I find their website, I'll link it).

I love music, and I hope to be a professional musician when I grow up. But wait! I haven't told you about what I play!

I play THE DRUMS, and I love them. Hitting things really relieves stress for me (which I have plenty of). No, I'm not just a drumset player: I am a concert percussionist (oooOOOooh) and I play all percussion instruments, which I why I devote a section of MC to percussion. I am one of the top two percussionists in my county. My competition is Kyle C., a really wacky guy. He marches with a drum corps during the summer, the Crossmen, and gets mucho chops (playing ability) while playing with them. He is the driving force of percussion in my life.
NB-Kyle's family is really rich, so Kyle can go into a musical career and not worry about money.

My mom went to the Bronx High School of Music and Art, and really influences how I approach music. My dad has not musical ability, but likes to dance. My little sister plays the flute. I have a three-legged dog named Peaches. She brings joy to my life.

That is everything that I want you to know about ME.
