Right now I'm a senior. In my free time I read, talk to my buds, work on the page you are at right now, and go to the occassional indie rock show. I am the primary lyric writer for an as-yet-unformed band. I dabble in origami and doodling.
I've been reading Mad magazine since 1990. I give it credit for warping my point of view
from an early age. I also enjoy Monty Python, Calvin and Hobbes, and the Far Side. I don't watch TV, but I'm a big movie freak. My favorite directors are Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats) and Terry Gilliam (Brazil, 12 Monkeys).
I'm in the drama club's tech crew at my school. We design and build the sets the actors
will perform on. So far I've participated in Anything Goes, Noises Off, Guys and Dolls, and The Crucible. In February I directed a scene for Senior Scenes. The Wiz will be my last show.
Shout outs to AJ, Nina, the 3 Dans, Melissa, Jen, Doug R and Doug C,
Caroline, Chris, Kris, and anyone else named Chris. Special mention to
the seniors who left last year: Alli, Renee, Holly, Darin, Tiffany, Mike,
Tara, and Chris.
Music: I'll listen to almost anything, but my favorite styles are ska, punk,
and hard rock. I got into Tori Amos about last June. My favorite
bands include Smashing Pumpkins, They Might Be Giants, Green Day, Operation Ivy (1987-1989), MxPx, AAA, Less Than Jake, Descendents, Metallica, NOFX, and Five Iron Frenzy. Alkaline Trio is a great band that everyone should listen to. I like Barenaked Ladies enough to make this up: Hey Gordon, maybe you should drive the pirate ship you were born on to the rock spectacle and do a stunt! I play guitar.
Ever wonder what rock stars are really like? Here's what I came up with!
