AMG BIOGRAPHY: Hailing from Kilkenny, Ireland Kerbdog are a post-grunge trio
that merges metal with the nervy, melodic roar of Husker Du. The band released
their eponymous debut in 1994 on Fontana Records. While it received some positive
reviews in the UK, the band failed to gain much of an audience. Kerbdog released their
second album, On the Turn, in the spring of 1997.

AMG REVIEW: Although it isn't significantly different than their
Therapy?-meets-Husker Du debut, Kerbdog's second album On the Turn is a stronger
record, primarily because the band's sound has become tougher and heavier during a
year of touring. Kerbdog still has trouble coming up with memorable riffs and
occasionally they get bogged down in their own murk, but On the Turn won't disappoint
any of their fans. -- Stephen Thomas Erlewine
