Yates meets new man in drug clinic

Paula Yates has a new man in her life and he's 12 years her junior.

Yates, 38, met her new man, known only as Kinglsey, when both were receiving treatment at the Clouds clinic in Wiltshire, England. The clininc specialises in helping people with drug and alcohol problems.

Yates was admitted to the clinic after trying to hang herself in a copycat suicide of how her lover, INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence, took his life last November at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Sydney.

The London Sun newspaper published photographs of Yates and Kingsley, 26, arm in arm near her West London home. The tabloid quoted friends as saying the former breakfast TV presenter and former wife of Sir Bob Geldof was "very, very attracted to him".

"Paula has had a torturous time since Michael died and there were days when she felt she could not go on," said a friend. "But her time in the clinic has turned things around for her, not least because she has met Kingsley.

"He was being treated for his own problems and the two have an enormous amount in common. "Paula is smiling again and it has a lot to do with Kinglsey.

"He is a lot younger than Paula but that doesn't appear to make any difference.

"They are very, very attracted to each other. "Paula is still extremely fragile and her four daughters are the priority in her life. They will always come first."

Yates' two year daughter to Hutchence, Tiger Lily, is being cared for in Australia while she overcomes her personal demons. Geldof is looking after her three daughters from their marriage.
