Freedom of Mediums = Freedom of Thought and the Multiple Way Street. TV is a dogmatic medium. TV is a controlled medium. It is controlled with money, with an elitist’s power of the corporate world. A television is watched, it is a one way radio. It is a dictatorship of communication. That is not communication. When freedom of media is acheived freedom of thought will happen. Freedom of mediums is freedom of communication. The exchanging of ideas. Learning, thinking, expressing, is all something that happens on TV. But it dosn’t happen to the watcher. Learning, thinking, expressing are all multiple way streets. Not one way, not two but many. I am communicating now. You can read this, I want you to respond. I want you to discuss. I want you to think about what I’m saying. I don’t care if you agree. But I do want you to tell me that you you do. A TV dosn’t want that. CBS dosn’t want that. NBC dosn’t want that. But I do, and so do many others. You have to find them. I’m one, you may be too (two). She might be three, he might be four, they might be five, six and seven. But how will you find out? Talk to them. Communicate with them. I don’t care how just make it a multiple way street when you do. “When a philosophy becomes fasionable it is either not a true one, or it is being used for extraneuous perposes.” Heidegger.
Heidegger is talking about this multiple way street I’m talking
about. TV makes philosophy fasionable, uses it for an extranious
purpose called profit. Gaining profit from communicating is wrong, corupt and selfish.
