Once in a while, a band grabs me out of nowhere. That is what happened with everclear. I was just sitting in my car, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, the coolest song I had heard in a long time came on the radio. 'I Will Buy You A New Life' had me singing along by the end of the song. I HAD to find out who sang it!!! Then, I heard the next single from their CD~'So Much For The Afterglow' called 'Father Of Mine', that is when I KNEW I must buy the CD! I'm so glad I did, because the music is so upbeat and fun, but the lyrics can be completely off the wall and downright mean. I LOVE it! They sing about things which make you think, and laugh at the same time. The title track should be a single! The bonus track is hysterical too! I call it 'I'll Be Hating You For Christmas', but I'm not sure of the exact title, since it IS a bonus track. They have a really cool commercial too that is run every now and then. Seen it? They're in the elevator with some pretty girl and the guitar keeps trying to get out, so they give it a doggie biscuit.
