We called the kids who came to see us the Blue Army. The first time we saw the Blue Army was in Toledo, Ohio, when we played there with Ted Nugent in April. We drove up to the gig and the line went around the building, long-haired teenage boys wearing blue denim jackets and jeans. An army of blue jeans. Our people. They were so loaded and would get so crazy that we had to build a portable steel-mesh barrier to keep them from overrunning the stage.
