What I knew how to do was get up there and rock. What Steven knew was songwriting, craft, pacing a song, a set, a whole show. We started writing our first song, "Movin' Out," and that's how I learned to write, from working with him. He gave us the tools to work with, and he wasn't shy about getting what he wanted from us.
