Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has joined forces with America's most beloved webslinger by composing and performing the theme song for the new television production of Spider-Man. The animated series can be seen every Saturday at 10 a.m. EST on the Fox Network. "I've never done anything like this before," says Perry, "but being both an avid fan of comic books since I was a kid, and an ardent collector of spiders,I was totally excited when the opportunity to write the music for Spider-Man presented itself. "Spider-Man has always been one of my favorite characters," adds the guitarist. "Plus, the best part is I got to meet [Marvel Comics founder and Spider-Man creater] Stan Lee, who's a legend in his own right.
