How to visit russian sites and be able to read russian.
(only for "Windows" users, sorry, though I don't like Gill Bates.)
Here is an archive of two, so called "KOI-8",
Win.x fonts. You should unzip them and install on your PC. Then go to the
"Options" or "Preferences" menu in your browser and select
"Times New Roman KOI-8" in "Proportional Font" and "Courier KOI-8"
in "Fixed Font" positions. You will be able to read information on
Russian sites in standard KOI-8 codepage without changing it in
menu in some modern browsers and of cource be able to read English
texts too!!
