I idolize the man Ozzy himself and love the music he has shared with this world. Thank you for blessing me. Ozzy, you are getting up there in age and man you can still rock the stage. Love you man.

In 1971 Ozzy married his first wife Thelma and adopted her five year old son. In 1972 they have their own first child together, a daughter, naming her "Jessica Starshine Osbourne." it was not until 1975 they had their second child--a son, naming him "Louis Jon Osbourne."

In 1977 Ozzy quit Black Sabbath. Sabbath then tries out Dave Walker{ex-Fleetwood Mac}. Needless to say he did not work so Ozzy came back. In 1979 Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath, this is when Ronnie James Dio came into the picture. Ozzy and Thelma also divorce this year.

1980 Ozzy went solo with Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisly, and Lee Kerslake. Ozzy immediately recognized the talent that Randy acquired. Ozzy and Randy were also very close as friends likewise.

Their first solo album was "Blizzard Of Ozz"; hit the charts in 1980. Theye released their second solo album in 1981. The second solo album being "Diary of a Madman."

Randy is known to be the best on his favorite guitars, the Ultimate Flying-V Guitars.

In 1987 Ozzy made a tribute album for Randy Rhoads.

The inside cover read as follows:
"March 19th 1982 is a day that will live with me forever. Not only did I lose my best friend but the greatest musician I had ever known. Randy Rhoads came into my life in 1979. At that time I was incredibly depressed, and he was what i had dreamed about in a guitar player. He helped make all of my dreams come true. Along the way we became buddies and business partners. Randy was a very special person, he inspired, cheered and made everyone in contact with him, feel good. Building the band with Randy was one of the happiest times of my life. What you are about to hear are the only live recordings of Randy and I, theye were recorded in late 1981. I have hesitated to release this album for many reasons, but now, Mrs Rhoads and I feel that this is the right time. I know his playing will continue to inspire you all.

This album is my Tribute to Randy Rhoads.

God Bless you Randy my friend

OZZY"

In 1993, Quiet Riot also made a tribute to Randy, "Quiet Riot, The Randy Rhoads Years."
