I just came back from the show and I just had to tell you the story of my Cure experience. I was lucky enough to be the first in line at 5pm. At around 530 or 600pm, a couple people came around to give wristbands for only the people who had floor seats on their ticket stubs. Unfortunately, I had balcony seats and to say the least I was extremely upset. Luckily, a guy named Mike from Las Vegas was behind me and had balcony seats too. His friends had floor seats and he was stressing out that he too wouldn't be with his friends. So, he went over to this guy who was selling tickets. Mike came back over to me and said this man would trade his floor seats for our two tickets. I gave him my ticket and that's how we got our floor seats. I went right to the middle of the floor so I could be eye to eye with Robert Smith. They opened with "Out of This World" and next was "Watching Me Fall."

The highlight of my night, next to getting floor seats, was when the band played "One Hundred Years." I have been waiting since 1986 to hear this song played live and I finally got my wish. When I heard the first few notes of the song, I yelled and screamed with so much excitement that I think I lost my voice. After that, I tried to soak in each second of the song because I don't know if they will ever play the song live again. It was a moment I savored.

They played 2 encores with the highlight being "The Figurehead" dedicated from Robert to Lol! They ended their set with "Disintegration".

They only performed a couple singles. They performed their older & underplayed live songs such as "Shiver & Shake." Overall, the show reminded me of the 85, 86 and 89 tours. I think I would have enjoyed the show much more if I had more time to learn the songs off Bloodflowers. This was a great promo show and I can't wait to see the full-fledge tour in the Spring.

I just got back from the LA promo show and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get (or if anyone has..) a full set list of the songs! encore's too! Thanks a bunch...and those who say that the cure lack their passion..Not tonight..Robert sang with so much emotion and perry was awesome as well as my dear simon who did a kick ass job. Jason does sound better on drums, and roger well, he was there, but didnt seem to pleased. I dont know..It was a great nigh t and a fantastic first cure show! :)
