Introducing The Band
When Savage Garden play live concerts, it is not only the two guys that create the music. SG have formed their own band for the national tours, and in store appearances, etc. Here’s some info about some of the members. I know it’s not much, but I’m trying to find some more, so if you have any info on them, please e-mail me. These guys should be congratulated too!
BACK-UP SINGERS -
JENNY WAITE & BESS-SERENA
The two very lucky additional vocalist for Savage Garden are Jenny Waite & Bess-Serena. They are both from Brisbane, just like everybody else in the band! Bess is the lucky one who sings Truly, Madly, Deeply, live as a duet with Darren and she also sung U2's With or Without You with Darren during the national tour. These girls get to travel the world with Darren & Daniel, singing wherever the guys perform, boy what a hard life!
BONGOS & DRUMS -
GLEN GIBSON
The totally excellent drummer of Savage Garden is none other than Glen Gibson! Not only can this talently man play the drums successfully, but he also bangs bongos during acoustic sets! And he is very nice too. During the National tour, Glen was kind enough to give away his drum sticks at the end of each show! What a total legend!
GUITARS -
SLADE GIBSON
Savage Garden have an awesome guitarist by the name of Slade Gibson, brother of Glen the drummer! Slade is a pretty cool player I might say, and has the best guitarist partner ever, yes Daniel also plays guitar, as well as keyboards during the shows! Anyway, Slade rocks just as much as everyone else!
BASS -
LEE NOVACK
The bass player of Savage Garden is Lee Novack. Like all of the other band members, this guy knows his craft. He is an exceptional bass player and is a valuable member of Savage Garden!
I don't know, all the band just seem to blend together so naturally, and most importantly sound good! Savage Garden are honestly the best live concert I have been too!
Darren can sing, Daniel can play, and so can all these guys!
