ARTICLE FROM THE SINGLE
Code Red are Phil Rodell (20), Neil Watts (21),Roger Ratajczak (20), Lee Missen (19), four friends who have one powerful thing in common . . . singing.
Over the last 2 year, Code Red have been developing their talent with Nicky Graham, Hot Shot Producer responsible for the sounds of PJ & Duncan, Let Loose and Bros who ever though blow away with their voices, was determinded to take the time to develope the sound and the look.
So what are Code Red about?
They are best friends who share the same taste
in music and entertaintment and all agree "All we really want to do
is sing". The essence of Code Red is in their strong vocal ability
and their close harmonies. Their songs are sweet and tuneful.
Live on stage, they perfom a spine tingling accapella set (singging in
close harmony without music). Their sound has been likened to BoyzIIMen
who are a band that all four of the guys deeply respect. Apart from all
that, they are a great laugh.
In their own words "We fell lucky that with gift we have been given, we can communicate with people all over the worl. our music is like a universal language - singing breaks all barriers".
Since they have been together as a band, they have travelled the UK from North to South and East to West. They have flown across the waters to the USA and last year at the end of October, Code Red visited Thailand.
Here are some of their impression of their first trip to Asia:
Phil: "The first thing that struck me about Thailand was how friendly the people were. Everywhere I looked I saw smiling faces. There was a great sense of peace about the place and even though I was far away from home, I was made to feel really comfortable. I can't wait to go back and also to visit the rest of Asia."
Roger: "I was so happy to be leaving England last October as the wheater was terrible - grey skies wherever I looked and not a hint of sunshine. 12 hours later, I arrived in Thailand! What a gorgeous climate. No wonder the people look so happy!"
Neil: "It was incridible to experience such a diffrent culture. It's a really good feeling being far away from the UK as it gave me a new perspective on life. Also, I loved all the Thai women that I met - they look so beautiful and exotic!"
Lee: "The food was amazing. It had so many diffrent flavours and I love all the spices. A particular favorite of mine was Tom Yam Kung soup. Mmmmm - delicious, my mouth is watering already."
Now, with a growing fan following in Thailand, and having fallen for the lure of the east, Code Red will be back in April and May to promote their new record in more Asian markets.
Following the ecstatic reaction of the Thai to the band, there is little doubt that the rest of the Asian region will take to the boys. Code Red love Thailand and can't wait to travel more in this region, making new friends and winning new fans.
