    The diameter of a bullet, designated in hundredths or thousandths of an inch (e.g. .357) or in millimeters (e.g. 9mm).
 
Cap
    A "cap" can refer to one of two things. Firstly, it is another name for a bullet (i.e. "bust a cap in your ass").  However, it can also refer to the top of the cranium (i.e. "peel your cap back").
