OK, the first time I've seen Liz Phair live.
Liz was the first act on the main stage, and played about 40 minutes.
She did 6'1", Never Said Nothin', Divorce Song, Jealousy, Supernova,
and 3 songs whose names I don't know from the new album. It was a
nice solid set, the only drawback (nature of the beast for this type
of show) was that it was too short.
The show stealer over-all was probably Natalie Merchant's trumpet
player, who also played on two songs with Indigo Girls and one with
Sarah McLachlen. The girl has great pipes.
Liz (along with just about everyone else) also sang on the big encore
number at the end of the night.
