EAMC Host: Welcome Seth Green of Buffy The Vampire Slayer to Entertainment Asylum!
Seth Green: Hey! Thanks for inviting me!
EAMC Host: Let's get started with our first question!
Question: Seth do you think Buffy is hot?
Seth Green: Sure... the show or the person? [the person] Alright. Sure.
Question: I've seen you in many movies and shows, but how did you get started? Do you have a girlfriend?
Seth Green: I'm 24 years old. I've been acting since I was 7. I don't know if I'm a veteran. I've just been very fortunate. I just pushed and pushed. Sometimes, you just know what you want to do. My godfather's brother was doing casting. I called him up, and he recommended me to school. The first commercial that I did was an industrial commercial for a John Denver record. And no, I don't have a girlfriend.
Question: Hey, this Don from Las Vegas. Are there any big plans for Oz coming up that you can let us in on?
Seth Green: It's all pretty hush-hush. I'm not keeping anything from the fans. Nothing is set in stone. There's loose talk about storylines, but things change quickly. Making me a werewolf was talked about, but I didn't know for sure until I got the script. We've got a great writing team too.
Question: Was "Can't Buy Me Love" your first movie?
Seth Green: No. It was my fifth or sixth. I did "Hotel New Hampshire" when I was 8. I did "Radio Days" when I was 12.
Question: Who were your childhood heroes?
Seth Green: I've met a lot of famous people. It's always cool when I meet someone who I like. But I've always looked up to my mom. My mom is really cool, and super independent. My parents are my role models.
EAMC Host: If Oz and Teen Wolf got into a fight, who do you think would win?
Seth Green: I think it depends if it's Michael J. Fox or Jason Bateman. It’s a tough call. If it was Michael J. Fox, it would go on all night. But Jason Bateman has those wrestling skills.
Question: Do Oz and Willow have any chance of having a "meaningful relationship" on the show?
Seth Green: I think the relationship we're developing is really meaningful. It's meaningful for both of us on the show.
EAMC Host: What did you think of working with Mike Meyers?
Seth Green: Yeah, baby, love it! Oh, behave!
Question: Do you ever call your fans like David Boreanaz?
Seth Green: I was working on a show a couple years ago, and I called a fan. I told a producer, and he flipped out. He said that it was really dangerous to do that. Just because of what happened to Rebecca Schaffer. She was attacked and killed by a fan. I'm so thrilled by my fans, but that is pretty much as far as I take it. I'll sleep with them, I just won't call them! I probably should worry more because I'm really accessible. I don't really worry about it but I'm very aware of it. And I'm too short to fight! Oh, I met Bobby Brown! It was really funny. I was in this dark club place and my friends were leaving and I see these three guys just staring at me. And I was like wishing that my friends would come back. So they start coming over and I was panicking! And one of them said, "You're an actor, aren't you?" I said, "Yeah," and I introduced myself. I asked him who he was and he was like, "I'm Bobby Brown!"
Question: Are there any plans to make you a regular cast member next season?
Seth Green: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Starting next season.
Question: Seth~ Hi! My name is Amanda Riker. A long time ago, you knew my sister Jennifer Riker from your old summer camp. Do you remember her? If so please write back at ACT4LIFE1, that’s me thanks!
Seth Green: Yeah, totally. I don't have any information but I remember her. I was in a youth group. I haven't talked to her in a couple of years. I was about 15 years old then.
Question: So what kind of music do you like?
Seth Green: I like a lot of music. I heard this great band a while ago. Now they're getting too big, though. I'll only be able to see them in big arenas. I wanted to see Green Day and I ended up seeing them in a huge place. I went to see Mad Candy at the House of Blues. I missed the two opening bands. I went and saw the Deadman Walking concert with Tom Waits. I like good music.
Question: Seth, I don't know if you read Movieline or not, but in there they ask different actors and what not, what their favorite scenes are in movies. Do you have a favorite that comes to mind? -Melanie
Seth Green: I love so many movies it's not even funny. I love "Midnight Run." I love "Raising Arizona." This sweetheart girl and cousin built a website for me and they wanted to know what my favorite movies are. I just saw "Love and Death on Long Island." And that's a great movie. I love movies. I get the hot dogs and the nachos. It's pretty sketchy...
Question: Seth-what was it like getting attacked by a steroid induced tick? -Melanie
Seth Green: It was a really great summer, actually. We were having a lot of fun. It was me and Peter, and Alfonso, and we got to go up to Big Bear. I had to pretend that ticks were eating my face. I felt really silly. I couldn't play it serious! I'm in a movie coming up where I get to play a zombie!
Question: Seth I really think your hot.. Do you believe that there are REAL vampires roaming the grounds???
Seth Green: Right. I believe in mythology and I believe there's a lot that I can't account for. You can't take responsibility for an entire group of people. I was really into mythology but I kept running into people that were really into Marilyn Manson and say, "I drink blood!"
Question: What actor or actress have you not gotten to work with, but would enjoy working with?
Seth Green: All the big ones. I would love to work with Kevin Spacey, Shirley McClaine... and Kevin Bacon. I'm one degree from Kevin, which is exciting!
Question: Hi, Seth! Is it true that you direct the show, too?
Seth Green: No, Bruce is not me. And we're not related.
Question: What was it like being reunited with Alyson Hannigan after working with her on "My Stepmother's an Alien?"
Seth Green: It's great. I adore Alyson. She's really cool. We've stayed in touch. She's a real talented girl.
Question: Hey, Seth. Who would you rather act with: Kate Winslett or Claire Danes?
Seth Green: I worked with Claire Danes on ["To"] Gillian ["on Her 37th Birthday"]. We had only one scene together, but she was great.
Question: Seth, you're an awesome actor first off, my question is do you play any instruments like your character Oz?
Seth Green: Not really. I can strum a guitar, but I have a really hard time with the finger placement. I get into the music and I get distracted. Sorry to shatter the illusion.
EAMC Host: Seth - Thanks so much for joining us and we look forward to seeing you next season on BUFFY!
Seth Green: Thanks for having me! Keep watching and stay cool!
