This is what Rob had to say on ...

Let Me Entertain You:

"I don't know, I don't mind Kiss really, but I think they're crass. But I thik it was great. I think the Kiss sort of thing suited the song very much because it is a kind of a rock opera. And, erm, it came from my head. I wanted to be Simmons and I wanted that tongue. I don't know why..."

Angels:

"Well, Angels had come out and it's sort of 'ahhhh' (very soft...). And I wanted a song to go 'uarrrhhh!!!!' (very VERY loud!) next. And I think that's what Let Me Entertain You is."

Life Thru A Lens:

"Basically my album was destined for the bargin bin and it sold something like 33.000 and I was, like, petrified. Like, you know, if the album hadn't been a success people would have thought it was because it wasn't really good. But it is!! It's great!!
And then all of a sudden it sold a million like that (snipping his fingers...) - which was great!! So, thank you, thank you, thank you!! All of you!!"

Lazy Days:

"Lazy Days was very weired because it was such a progression for me from, you know, Old Before I Die came out and it was like (starts singing...) 'I hope I'm old before - de dum de dum de dum - before I die - yeah! -
And then Lazy Days came out and it was a bit like 'uuhhh, this is a serious song... for grown ups...' And, erm, only a few people bought it..."

Freedom '96

"Thinking out it now I shouldn't have released it.
Well, it's a brilliant song and all that. But all the royalty bits went to George. George, you owe me a pint!"
