Life Thru A Lens went platinum last week!
And again Angels
went up to No 7 in the UK single charts...
And Karin from Germany just brought the news that Angels entered the Top 10 at No 10 in the German charts last week. Congratulations Rob!
Here's a breakdown of the T.T. races:
ROB-Singles: Freedom (270,000);
Old Before I Die (170,000); Lazy Days (70,000); South Of The Border(40,000); Angels (470,000).
Total: 1,020,000. Album: Life Thru A Lens, currently at No 3.
Total: 210,000.
GARY BARLOW-Singles:Forever Love (300,000);
Love Won't Wait (190,000); Open Road (90,000); So Help Me Girl (70,000).
Total: 650,000.Album:Open Road, currently No 59. Total: 250,000.

Rob in the meantime went off to Jameica to work on his new album which is planned for October this year.

But not only in the Uk is he riding high: In Germany Angels is at No 37 in the official charts and on VIVA, Germany's biggest music television broadcaster, Angels got to No 1 in the VIVA charts, voted for by the VIVA text readers.
Tickets for the bash cost £300 but all profits go to the Red Hot Aids Charitable Trust.
The NME Awards will be held at London's Brixton Academy on January 27 and will be shown on Channel 4 as well as broadcasted live on Radio 1.
The other nominees are Paul Weller, Beck, Björk, Natalie Imbruglia, Morressey, Louise, Finley Quaye, Sheryl Crow and Beth Orton.
Angels appears on 49 in the UK Top 50 Best-Selling Singles of 1997! (With Gary Barlow and Mark Owen nowhere to be found...)
