DNA Level C

Site info is an important page about DNA Level C itself.  this section contains a listing of requirements for viewing this site correctly (to it's fullest potential) as well as providing a list of links to resources for viewing/playing various multimedia objects found on DNA Level C. Requirements lists the browser and font requirements for viewing DNA Level C as it was intended to be viewed. REQUIREMENTS
BROWSER:	DNA Level C is optimized for NETSCAPE 4.  It contains some java scripts as well as Netscape only table codes and varying fonts.  No matter what browser you are using, make sure that in the preferences you have enabled JAVA and JAVASCRIPT!    If you don't have NETSCAPE 4, get it at http://www.netscape.com.  DNA Level C may appear correctly on NETSCAPE 3.x, but best result are with 4.  If you have AOL and are using their AOL browser...you really need to download a version of Netscape!   DNA Level C will NOT  appear correctly on the AOL browser--pictures may not be shown correctly, tables may not be shown correctly, image maps may not work, etc.
FONTS:	Much of the text on DNA Level C's pages take advantage of NETSCAPE's ability to display various fonts.  However, you need these font installed on your computer in order to see them on the pages (otherwise text is displayed in a default font.  The following table lists the fonts on  DNA Level C's pages . . . if you wish, you can dowload the DNA Level C Font Package which is a zipped file containing all of the below fonts.  (dnafonts.zip, 411k).  To unzip it, you will need WinZip.

File Type	Utility
Real Audio (.RA, .RAM)  Real Video (.RM, .RAM)	Real Audio is a type of sound file encoding that take up much less space than, for example, .wav files, which makes them perfect for the web. Real Video is the video equivalent.  You can download the Real Player for free at http://www.real.com
Quicktime Movie (.mov)	.mov is one of many formats for encoding movies.  You can download a player for it at http://www.quicktime.apple.com/sw/
NAMS-IMI (.nam)	.nam is a new, uncommon format for encoding movies.  To play Nams movies you must download their player from their site.  It is free at:   http://www.namsnet.com
ZIP Archive (.zip)	.zip files are archives compressed in orer to take up less space and group many files together.  In order to "unzip" them, download a prgram such as WinZip (http://www.winzip.com).
