We
set up this page to serve as an on-site listing of confirmed
events. In addition, we also use the web-based concert event listing
services (on our Links page).
We Officially kicked off our "Get Plugged In" tour on
January 22nd in Fontana, California. We are very happy with the new sound of
the band. We are excited about some of the developments that have occurred
since we began working on the recording. Sean got
a new state-of-the-art drum kit at the end of our Summer concert series.
Scott got a digitech BP-8 for his bass (for Christmas) that adds punch and
clarity to his sound. Gina got a few percussion toys (for Christmas) to
compliment the songs. Most dramatically, we have made some major
improvements to our guitar 'sound'...David bought a hollowbody electric
guitar! That, and a Randall amp
with a
4x12 cabinet means we are now 'Officially' PLUGGED IN! For those of you who
have already heard David Shane live, get ready for 2000! We have been
working hard at creating just the right sound...and David has found it! 2000
is gonna ROCK!
Congratulations to Sean (our drummer) and Laura Haiker! Laura is
pregnant with their second child. The due date is June 1st. We will be
taking some time off from late May through early July to allow for their new
arrival.
If you are interested in booking David Shane for your event or venue,
we are putting together our schedule for the second half of 2000. We may
still have a date available before June. E-mail us if you are interested.
We not only encourage you come out to a David Shane concert, but also
to invite a friend to come along too. When you get there, just remember to
fasten your seatbelt!
Sincerely, -- the
band--
